How significant this is depends on how strong Pluto is in the partner's chart. If they have a strong Pluto (Makes tight aspects or rules an angle nataly) it likely will have an impact on you.

The 11th house is the house of popularity (or lack thereof), group dynamics, and the attention, evaluation, and appreciation (or lack thereof) we receive from others around us. The 11th house is said to be the house of 'love received' and friendships.

If the partner's Pluto is strongly placed for them, and makes good aspects to your chart, their intensity and influential side will make you feel welcomed and wanted by them. They will be able to 'pull strings' for you in group settings, and may introduce you to those that can help you out. They may express their caring for you in Plutonic way, making you feel popular and liked individually by them... They may go out of their way to vow their loyalty for you, be discreet for you when you need it, and be willing to explore deeper topics with you. With their Pluto in your 11th, you are able to receive their Plutonic energy as a sign of appreciation. Their intensity shows you that they care.

Hard aspects from the partner's Pluto in the 11th are not always bad, the above description applies in an even more extreme manner. Hard aspects can indicate either extremism or conflict. In cases where the hard aspect indicates conflict, hard aspects from the 11th house Pluto could indicate harsh criticism of your individual quirks or the social category you fall into. This could make you feel distinctly 'unpopular' with Pluto person in particular. It could feel like they try to look below the surface with you, so they can openly pick on things about you that are supposed to be your own private business. However, even with squares this negative interpretation does not always apply. As I said, sometimes squares just show extremism. The person may simply show their Plutonic appreciation for you more melodramatically and actively then they would with a gentle soft trine.

I wonder if anybody else has noticed Pluto's house placement in synastry being important?
