Have you noticed anything that stands out in terms of similarities between your romantic partners Edit: or with other significant people in your life? Recurring themes from one relationship to the next? "Weird coincidences"? Been meaning to create this thread for a while now because it was something folks seemed excited about in another thread but I dropped the ball there for a while.

I'll go first...

I noticed that I have a thing for people with Saturn conjunct their ascendant and/or mine. I know, I know--what a weird thing to have a thing for.

Somebody from my past just got in touch with me and I went to check and his Saturn is conjunct my ascendant exact.

... what is the dilly-o?? Is it because of my Cappy Moon Neptune Saturn stellium-ish?

There have been two (significant) people in my life with Saturn conjunct their own ascendants (both from the 12th house side, might I add), and two whose Saturn conjuncts mine. So that's 3 people total with Saturn-ASC action, two of which are conjunct my ascendant, and two of which are conjunct their own.

what's the dillyo, i must ask again.

I just looove brutal hardship and unremitting judgment and super strict codes of behavior? That must be it. I'm forging my soul in a fiery furnace, right?

Also--as an aside, and because it's my chimera of a thread and I can make an aside--what if my peregrine Sun were quincunx HIS peregrine Sun?! It is. That's pretty crazy if you ask me. Always felt it, now I've a name for it. Anyway there's a lovely progressed composite kite right now which is being activated by dreamy ol Neptune so it makes sense that he's in touch... and with t. Uranus opposite my natal Venus at the moment I'm kinda thinking well why the heaven not see how interesting things can temporarily be? It is good to test my ability to not become obsessed. Uranus opp Venus is a good opportunity for that, right? I maybe should have made a proper thread re: this person but i really am more interested in talking about recurring relationship schemas... Really!

Hi I'm sure it must be about that stellium, and anything else related to a strong Cap or Saturn.
What I have noticed as recurrent theme in my charts and others' is a gradual attempt to complete the natal pattern. Example: I have two ideal completion degrees, one for my Venus cross, something around 6 Gem; one for my Minor Triangle, around 10 Aries. Someone comes along, has something around 10 Aries, but the Gem placement, while still there, as energy, is on 20 Gem, for instance. Then the right one comes with both aspects in orb and then letting the right one in

Hi! Was thinking of you as I wrote of the Cap stellium.. supposed it must be due to that but it's so good to get confirmation--and the seed mightn't have been planted in my mind at all if it weren't for you!

And yeah--that makes sense, finding the right one to hit those degrees just right... This particular person's Saturn is even CLOSER to my ascendant--like right on the nose! Perfect!

... but not at all perfect, really--or is it? There has gotta be a pretty good reason for this particular pattern... it's an isolated aspect repeating in different dimensions of my life, so it's not exactly responding dynamically to my whole chart in the normal sense of an astrological pattern completion... still, the ascendant on its own is enough, I suppose, out of any single aspected point, to warrant special consideration in and of itself, and constitute enough of a force that a single aspect could cause such a chain of events as my personal chart might be subtly requesting somehow...?? That's a ramble and a half...

edit: and I don't think this person is perfect for me in any sweeping sense--just that I am definitely asking for it somehow!! Which is easy to see from its recurrence so I needn't complicate matters, really.

Saturn ASC by itself can point to a certain theme in your destiny, such as related to the father, or the need for a mentor, a protector. I wonder if this Saturn touches your luminaries in any way.

Interesting, I was just thinking about something similar last night. Reoccurring themes in relations of all types.
Even in the workplace you start to notice patterns. For me it all stems around liars and getting away from those type of people.
Have you noticed themes like that in your life? Not just in relationships but overall?

Interesting thread.
Not only with lovers, but also significant people in my life..
They usually have planets end of Scorpio, start of Sag in my 5th house, forming a Grand trine in my chart with my Jupiter/Sun trine.

Or planets that touch my Gemini 12th house, forming a Grand Cross from my Saturn/Moon/Mars T-square.

People born in 1986, with their Pluto on my Venus / IC. It's gotten to the point where if I meet someone, I can tell that they were born in 1986 and have their Pluto on my Venus / IC.

Many people with something around 2-6 Capricorn, hitting my Vertex.

And so, so much Lilith in synastry.. Just so much.

Sagittarius MOON. Good God. Everywhere.

The man to whom I lost my virginity ( ... kinda); my former astrophysics lab partner, and best friend for many more years. Late SAG (on my NEP/7R).

My first monster (in high school, a short time before). Early SAG.

My husband -- 10º on the dot.

That guy, my ex-producing partner -- early SAG.

My good friend from HS; despite the years, we've always maintained a close connexion -- late SAG (on my NEP).

My good friend / soul-brother, who's absolutely from my soul group. We 'crossed paths' for many years before finally actually meeting -- 15º SAG, right on my VALENTINE.

My latest soul-sister; we bonded instantly. 20º SAG, right on my NEP (and hers).

And, a double-SAG from my past who had started out as a frenemy (we both faced each other with some hard truths) but gained closure later in our thirties and became just friends, rather than frenemies, heh. MOON in early SAG, around the same spot as my ex-producing partner.

So, as you can see, LOTS of lunar SAG influence.

Hmm.. well---my asc is 2 Scorpio, Sun is 21 Scorpio, Moon is 8 Cap. So there's a wide sextile to my Moon. My Ascendant is sextile my Saturn at 0 Cap though, and my Uranus at 28 Sag.

I'm still figuring out quincunx math--my Mars is at 1 Aries--is this a quincunx to my ascendant? (Edit: yes it is). Jupiter is at 2 Gemini--also quincunx my ascendant--and my Saturn.

Venus is 15 degrees wide of my ascendant in the 12th... and Mercury is at 10 Scorpio, 8 degree conjunction. Pluto is within 10 degrees of my Ascendant too.

it's interesting to hear that perspective... I lose sight of Saturn as father sometimes... I miss my Dad. He was/is a huge figure in my life and it makes sense that I am seeking father-energy somehow... or that it figures prominently in my destiny... I do have a 4th house North Node which I often relate to him...

Hmm only thing that comes to mind is a proclivity towards oddballs, artists and spiritual types for which i am blessed, I think... not that we don't all have our difficulties and quirks, and strong personalities with attendant ego issues... but if there's a common strain between the people I encounter or associate with it would be these things. I have a hunch this might relate to North Node midpoint pictures in the natal chart. Does your North Node participate in any midpoint configurations involving Mars and Neptune or.. anything and Neptune? What in your chart do you think might relate to this pattern/series of challenges/lessons? Are they good opportunities for separating the wheat from the chaff, so to speak?

Why Angel? Is Taurus a difficult spot for you?

How do you feel that 12th house activation? Must be pretty potent considering the planets and house involved. I guess the folks who complete your Jupiter/Sun trine might be more flowy friendly relationships and the Grand Cross completers are powerful agents for change/self reflection/deep understanding and revelations? Or--? Maybe some people do both!

Ack! Somehow just noticed that my current lover and my daughter's father both have their Asc/Desc axis along 14 Sag/Gemini! Crazy. That's nuts. It's my Sun/Moon midpoint, 14 Sag, so it makes lots of sense that way... still.

They have a very similar vibe about them (duh).

And these two, interestingly, have had two partners in common; myself and my friend with whom I used to live on a farm... The baby-Daddy, interestingly, puts his Juno on my current lover's South Node, and his Venus on his vertex/Saturn. Anyhoo. That's interesting.

Yikes, me too. Wonder what the heck this means? The amount of new moon babies in my life is really weird and has me puzzled. I guess I come across as a really "whole"/solid person to them or something.

Interesting thread!

My ex-soulmate has this stellium, all within a few degrees:
Mercury, Mars, Pluto, Venus

My husband has the same stellium, but it's stretched across ten degrees.

Freaked out a bit when I realized that. Their composite chart has a super-stellium including the sun and my name asteroid.
