If you insist on choosing one name, I'd go with the first one no matter the aspects. If both names are used equally often in day to day life, it would be good to include them both. If the middle name is conjunct something in the big 3, this should raise its importance too.Your Moon is too far away to consider it a conjunction. Unless you wanted to show that they share the sign, then it's ok. And I believe this thread belongs in the asteroid section. my first name conjunct Aura
my middle name conjunct ASC from the 12th (perfect, isn't it?), Micromegas and Skuld
but there's probably more stuff I'm not aware of or forgot ------------------

i'd use the name you are commonly called.not necessarily your given name unless you are called by it.my mother's named asteroid is exactly conjunct my moon...pretty clear for me a woman I considered a soulmate's name was on my ascendant within a degree. todd IP: Logged |

Your first given name. No matter what - no matter how aspected your names are. I can tell you what I'd do if changed my first name .I would replace my former name with it in my research or at least be more focused on it. ------------------

named asteroids are a subjective choice.in quantum theory ,non locality means that everything is connected to everything else hence there is no distance or difference between things, there is no position between things as everything is connected. roger Penrose felt that even qualities of life are quantum defined. therefore the named asteroid you choose will be the right one. there can be no mistakes. you question about which one to use is superfluous as the name you choose is always the correct named asteroid as the connection between you and the asteroid has always existed, you are just uncovering the connection now.
