Topic: Mother-Daughter Chart, Negative or Positive?

So, my mother and I have a very tense background and for a long time I've kept my distance. I was wondering if someone could analyze our synastry chart? I have always felt like a parent to her, and have tried to bring her some rationale. She does have untreated bipolar one and now that I can rationalize that I feel like I should start having a relationship with her. She's been hurt many times by many people, however as a child I could not rationalize this and took her actions against me as personal. Can someone tell me if we will have a positive relationship if I do come into contact with her again?With everything happening with my dad I desperately want to connect with a loving energy again, and what's supposedly more loving than a concerned mother? Your Saturn conjunct her Mars in your 5th house might explain your rocky relationship. As well as her moon in your 8th squaring your Saturn. I'd also look to the 4th house, you have a bunch of planets there and some even conjunct your ic. Look up Mars conjunct the ic/ in the 4th house. I have that too, and my relationship with my mother has been quite tumultuous at times.IP: Logged |

I do hope everything works out for you, but it's hard to have a peaceful relationship when only one person is willing to work towards it. You do have some nice aspects, though. Venus trine sun. Her Jupiter and Venus in your 7th house. Sun trine moon. Moon trine Venus.IP: Logged |

Do you see any other negatives? I feel like I keep trying to see this through rose colored glasses and I'm ignoring any negative when I look for myself

Yes, when we get along nothing is better. We are like peanut butter and jelly, but I am afraid that I'm overlooking all the negative and the negative things she has done ------------------
