Edited this as clearly no-one likes guessing games, but I'm still interested.

This is the synastry of Edward Plantagenet - Edward IV of England - and Elizabeth Woodville. They're a really interesting couple, the story goes that she was the widow of someone who'd been killed fighting against him in the War of the Roses. She met him on the road, standing under an oak tree, to beg for her husband's land back.

Following that, they very quickly got married. Despite the fact that a) she was a commoner b) and on the other side in the war c) and not about to yield any useful political alliances d) he could've wiggled out of it, he honoured the marriage and had her crowned as queen, annoying most of his family and alienating several key allies in the process. Their marriage was almost certainly a key factor in the War starting up again, and they both faced threats to their lives as a result.

Then they lived happily ever after.

Until, y'know, he died very young and both of their sons were perhaps murdered by perhaps his brother. Who was then defeated by a Lancastrian and became the last Plantagenet king.

It's a good love story though, isn't it? I was wondering if anyone could see any pointers to it in their synastry. I've got the Saturn-Neptune square, multiple trines and the Eros-Psyche opposition, also he seems to have a lot of things kicking around her SN - is there anything you can see that really stands out and explains what happened?

(TOB lost in the mists of time, I'm afraid, so house placements and moon signs probably out).

I am not really a defender of magi astrology...

however in their terminology they have one of the strongest signs, a romance super linkage, including all romance planets and some others, and it`s doubly blessed by being a double trine with Jupiter in it as well.

Jupiter - Chiron
trine
Neptune
trine
Venus-Mars-Juno

with the linkages of

Jupiter-Venus
Jupiter-Mars
Jupiter-Neptune
Jupiter-Juno
Chiron-Venus
Chiron-Mars
Chiron-Neptune
Chiron-Juno

Me too - there's a very good British adaptation of the Philippa Gregory novels about them, I was rewatching it the other night - worth looking up if you haven't already, if only for Max Irons as Edward.

Thanks Ceridwen! I don't know much about Vedic astrology either but that mega-trine has to be good. I also like his Pluto-NN conjunction, that has to be a kingmaker aspect...
