Hey, guys. I have been reading interpretations for this house placement as being emotionally intense. There is a potential for a tremendous amount of pain if things go sour. Do you find that to be true? Are there any positive aspects about this placement? IP: Logged |

It depends how the Moon is aspected - but in my experience where I share it with my SO, I find it very beautiful and would not have it any other way.It means that all the emotions you are experiencing together will have a transformative power in your lives. That doesn't go without drama of course, but you will at least have a story to tell. The 8th House belongs to Scorpio, and he likes the Moon for the Water Qualities.

That's good news. My worry was it would be so stormy emotionally, it would tear us apart. Granted, it's not in a emotional sign. Our composite Moon is in Aquarius. The only "off" aspect the Moon has is a square to Uranus under 1 degree. There is also wide square (over 6 degrees) to Saturn, but I'm hoping that has no effect. We do have a love stellium (Sun, Venus, Neptune, and Mercury conjunction) in the 6th house of all places! Maybe the 8th house moon will save us from boredom. lol It's good to know this is working positively in someone's relationship.

Out of curiosity, how does your AQU cMOON operate? What's the emotional tone of your relationship? In the 8H, I'd expect it'd be very sexual. Is it?IP: Logged |

Calm, collected, cerebral, but with an undercurrent of emotional and sexual intensity and longing. We both have Aquarius Moons, and also Moon conjunct Moon in synastry. It's not a sexual relationship, but the potential is certainly there.

I have this with someone, and it's not sexual at all. That's not how the MOON works (see: MARS). It gives a keen insight into each other's moods, and a lot of things can be communicated without even speaking. We both have natal 8H MOON, so it's a natural placement for us both. Psychic tuning is also likely with this placement, as well as shared mood swings (which can be good or bad).Scorpio's house rules investigative nature, and things hidden in the dark. It rules loyalty and things received. As a psychic house, the MOON fits very well here. It even has a stabilizing effect on MOON's volatile nature, though it may transform simple grudges into never-ending dramas. IP: Logged | |
