Hey guys, I went out someone last night with Venus conjunction my north node in Aries we have been talking for a while on the phone but this was our first time meeting....I can't remember how to post the synastry chart but it's at a 4 degree orb. My experience with this was very unnerving, as the time approached for our date I noticed physically I felt anxious and nervous like a feeling of dread. We also have sun conjunct moon which of course I figured with that we would be two peas in a pod. The date itself went fine conversation was nice but things got a little hot and heavy and the feeling of anxiety and dread was just overpowering, there was no sex or anything but I felt terrible and couldn't understand why....has anyone had similar experience with NN contacts?? Sorry this didn't go well. It's just one date... If you didn't like him, you never have to see him again!What makes you feel like the Venus/NN is the problem?
A 4 degree orb is pretty wide for the Nodes. Was it Separating or Applying? Applying aspects are usually stronger. If conversation was awkward - look to a Mercury mis-match. Or un-aspected personal planets. And if you felt strange aggression or antagonism in the air - then - Mars and/or Pluto aspects could be the culprit. Do you have exact birth times? How close was the Sun/Moon? And is it your Moon or his Moon? IP: Logged |

"alatered" perceptions.

Thanks for replying guys. His birthdate is 28 May 1985 8:00pm....my birthdate is 3 July 1986 7:20 am. I am the NN person he is the Venus. We actually agreed to not see each other again it's funny you should mention that.... It wasn't like an aggression I sensed it was like I was scared or like a kid or something it's still freaking me out, the conversation was awesome but that feeling just lingeredIP: Logged |

It might have been that he was aggressive, that as a person there is something off or abusive about him... or the synastry was tough.. it may too have been a projection of yours... that is a possibility. He may have been introduced into your life to make you aware of some childhood trauma or difficulty in your life with receiving love caused by somebody or something you have perceived or experienced (whether through media, collective consciousness, or personal experience) which was to do with aggression and victimhood in sexual experience. Looking just at the Venus/North Node aspect, he could be a catalyst for you to get more in touch with your sensitivity and receptive feminine self. Just a thought...IP: Logged |

Whatever it was it must have been more then the Venus/Node connection. I agree with Odette, that 4 degees is actually rather wide for a node conjuntion to be that powerful. I suspect something else in the synastry caused the anxiety.IP: Logged |

I give maybe 5 degrees for conscious planet and a little less for unconscious planet. but if there are also other aspects to the node
I will widen the orb and if there are more that one planet conjunct or if there are midpoints conjunct, the orb is widdene through the concept of transference of light. but when interpreting for some one, to assure my words are precise, I like a tight orb.
theoretically I believe the orb to the node can be 10 degrees .
