Been looking for info on this but can't find it anywhere on the web. What do you all think the significance would be of Nessus conjunction (within 3 degrees) of the Descendant in synastry? The Nessus individual has Nessus sitting in their 3rd house in their natal chart but within 4 degrees of their IC, in Cancer, if that is significant.

This is not an easy energy in Synastry. Since the sign is Cancer, chances of emotionally abusing the partner with verbal volleys [3rd House] increase during "family squabbles". However, one must consider the overall Synastry Energy too.

I am just a beginner in astrology but Nessus conjunct anything means he will abuse you or will take your life. Virgo is a sign of purity, neatness, practicality, and intelligence. Your descendant is open enimy as well as partners. I would run personally, nobody deserves abuse.

I'd love to say of the guy is amenable and reasonable, learns lessons well as in he don't do it again might be great to work with. Get him a mental eval, if he loves you enough he will. People do what they want to, the question is does he want to do what he has to?

My so's falls on my ascendant. Cancer. Its in his 8th house in the natal. I've read where this aspect being on my ascendant would cause abuse. I got the same response early on..."run for your life!!!" Lol.

He would NEVER lay a hand on me in anger. We do have a bdsm relationship together so that may represent this point more accurately in our synastry. Just thought I would add this info if it helps you, since its on the same axis.

Finally got out of this relationship. He was emotionally abusive and completely traumatised me. Didn't see him for a few months, when we finally run into each other he starts threatening the man I was with and sending me messages saying he is after him. He is the one who broke up with me. I wonder does nessus energy hang around forever? I want to be free of this person. I don't talk to him or engage on any level. In our relationship I was a loyal, loving partner but it feels like I am constantly being punished by this person for no reason.
