Neptune transit to personal planets, especially to Moon, Mars and Venus. How has it been for you? Does it ever end well?

When Neptune conjuncted my Moon and then my Mars, I met someone who I thought was something he really wasn't. I admired him a lot for certain qualities I ascribed to him at that time. Once Neptune moved further away, I saw that I was wrong about him.

I am curious whether this aspect is always about delusion. Do people get married under such transits and then realise it was a mistake? Anybody here had a Neptune conjunct Venus transit? I can imagine a classical 'fall in love' time. Curious as to what happens after. Basically, does it always happen the way I described above, in my example?

One small note, I am talking about conjunctions because with Neptune trine Venus it will most certainly be a faiytale with happy end etc.

athenaia, thanks!

I can see why you are dreading the 7th house Neptune transit. I would too. For me it's not Neptune though, I've got Uranus just enter my 7th. He too is something to beware of.. On a positive note, Neptune in your 7th is probably a little nothing compared to Neptune conjunct personal planets. So fingers crossed for you all will be well

tNeptune opposes my Virgo Venus right now.

My eyes have been clouded towards a guy recently, for whom I'm struggling to hold onto the concept of letting go. My mind is telling me "look at this guy and see who he really is, he just wants a harem. Run, run away!", etc etc, but it is not easy to let go at all.

I also have an exact Moon sextile his Pluto, exact Moon square his Mars, and exact Narcissus/Echo conjunct with this man, so this is truly driving me nuts. Things are made worse because I don't know exactly what he thinks of ME, so I feel like I'm being strung along.

Southern Sun,

Opposition is not as bad as conjunction in my opinion. It's a seesaw, you can sometimes switch on your Virgo Venus. Actually because your Venus is in this sign, it helps in this situation. But good luck anyways! And try to avoid the unknown, don't leave words unspoken and/or hide behind the curtains. That's very important with this transit. You don't want to be helping the Neptune!

Narcissus/Echo. I know nothing about asteroids. You made me curious so I just looked this myth up. Interesting! Turns out I've got that too with someone but it probably can't be counted as aspect if it's 1 degree orb. You are Echo?

athenaia,

cooool then I'm looking forward to it. I'm not exactly Uranian but my Venus and Moon are in Aquarius so there's a bit of that free spirit. Hopefully I will meet someone special too.

Yeah, I am the Echo. It's also an exact conjunction at 15 Capricorn.

And yeah, hiding behind the curtains is exactly what I'm leaning towards doing There is too much uncertainty surrounding him for me

I met and started a relationship with someone at the onset of TR Neptune trinning my Venus. He had a Neptune-Venus conjunction in his natal chart. It's very common to meet someone whose natal chart has an aspect that repeats your transits. Lo and behold, I thought this was the most beautiful love I could feel, very romantic in every frocking way. He broke my heart nonetheless when the transit was over one year later, and when he came back to rekindle the relationship, I looked at him and thought he was so ugly to me, as if - what the had happened to me when I first met him, this can't be the man i fell in love with...
anyway. I showed him the door while holding my nose.

next year I am starting a Neptune - Moon square transit. MY current love has a Moon- Neptune square in his natal chart. Thank god we met and started it before any Neptune transits, so I know Im not being neptunified.

Friend of mine just went through a Neptune conjunction to her Pisces Moon.
She fell in love on the internet with some guy she didn't even have a picture of and they talked on the phone for weeks.
He was a Pisces Sun.
Then she broke up with her boyfriend, they were together for seven years, but they had serious problems.
Her boyfriend has a natal Neptune Moon Opposition and she just hated his drinking and delusions about a future as a artist while basically just hanging around.
Through the other guy she realized what she lacked in relationships. The Pisces Sun in fact was a successful musician. Unfortunatly he lived in another country.
On New Years Eve he met another woman and ended the internet relationship.
My friend was shocked and totally devastated.
The Neptune Transit was over.

At the same time, Saturn was transiting her ASC.
She moved out and realized she has to restructure her life completly.

I don't think Neptune Transits are just dangerous hallucinations.
They show us where we lack love and push us to find it.
I felt from the beginning that it wasn't the guy on the internet this whole thing was all about.
He made her feel alive and reconnected her to all the ambitions and feelings of intensity she lacked in her relationship.

thegrinning_cat,

Thanks. Did you know right away that he was married when you got involved with him? If this was an affair then maybe Neptune over your Venus logically could mean confusing fantasy (he's the one, happily ever after) with reality (he's not the one because he's married). You know..Neptune and affairs (secrets, illusions etc.)

I wish you all the best with your love! Glad Neptune transit didn't ruin anything for you.

Sorry, I just re-read your reply again. Neptune over HIS Venus and Sun.

OK

So an affair, and he didn't end it, right?

I can do without Neptune influencing my love life. It's a co-ruler of my chart, and frankly, it has done enough damage already. It should just confine itself to spiritual matters. But, nooooo...

at some time in the coming years, Neptune will be opposing my personal virgo planets, and I am already preparing myself mentally to NOT.FALL.FOR.THE.BS.

btw, Belage
Virgo planets make one itchy, and a pain in the neck... TR Neptune will soften you up a bit, and the lives of the people around you. Dont be surprised if you find yourself in a daisy circle while singing kumbaya.

LOL
I am already Pisces rising and it softens my Virgos quite enough. I have sung too many kumbayas already! :-)

hmmm ...

Met my current SO when Neptune first began transiting in conjunction with Venus.

I, natally, do not have Neptune aspecting Venus at all. He has been the greatest love of my life so far. He doesn't really have a neptune/Venus thing going in his chart either, and he did not have Neptune really aspecting anything by transit either, so I'm not sure how this would play out?

We have a ton of Neptune in our composite, but it's interesting, powerful energy.

Still, I find that this gets a bad rap in general - but I have read that, such as in my case, neptune can bring the love of your life in a Neptune - venus conjunction. In my case, that's true, even if we fall apart as soon as Neptune goes direct.

Afterall, regardless of how things 'turn out', it doesn't dictate how I am feeling during this relationship presently.

That being said, I DID feel a ton of anxiety with this conjunction, and I would say that learning to handle Neptune energy if you don't have it natally in this aspect (such as in my case), can be a challenge, but it's powerfully transformative. I kept breaking up with my SO the first year bc I was convinced the 'other shoe' was dropping. I was always suspicious, thought he was lying to me or cheating, and so on, and so forth. I still battle with that but it's faded out over time and what I expect to happen most when Neptune leaves Venus in 2017 for me is that the relationship will just become kind of 'normal', and every day, rather than this big dramatic love story it started out as. But I say that mostly because that's what I am seeing happening as the months go by.

Guess we shall Seeeee!!!!!

thegrinning_cat,

true Neptunian you are, you will save and shelter all the 'wounded' I would advise to think and take care of yourself too a little but you probably can't help attracting and being attracted to them.

Now I was thinking a lot about a situation when someone is having an affair and going through Neptune transit. I don't mean to be insensitive (please don't get upset!), it's just that I thought it's worth sharing my opinion so that we can understand and learn from each other.

So if you are single and meet someone under Neptune say conjunct your Venus, you get together with them because they are so amazing. Then when the transit is done and you see things clearly, you either break up or you get disillusioned but stay in the relationship.

But if it's your lover who blinded you under Neptune transit? What happens when the transit is done? Option 1) Leave your wife/husband then when the transit is done regret it. Option 2) Reverse psychology - have an affair but when the transit is done you realize that you will not leave your wife/husband for your lover.

So I would say it's a transit that favours manipulation for those who are involved with other wives/husbands. It's like an opportunity to snatch them away )) very naughty.

thegrinning_cat, again, please do not get offended because maybe it's nothing like that at all in your case and your man does take you seriously and there's a future for you two. Time will show and again, love and luck to you with Whoever you choose in your life! X

I'm heavy neptunian (Nep conjunct Asc, opposite moon, and Pisces Sun).

Three years ago, I met a guy online and was almost an instant crush for me. At that time, my tNeptune was Square my natal Nep, ASC and Moon, was conjunct my IC and my Juno and Amor asteroids. I believed him in every word and I believed I found my soulmate finally. Even I broke up a longterm relationship (18 years) to be with the new guy.

Distance help me to be in personal contact with him soon, and suddenly he began to go out with other woman and cut off all contact with me, until 3 months ago.

I spend one year all alone, trying to explain my emotions, and last year I came back with my last partner (he forgave me), even he still hurt for my behaviour (he still have tNep conjuct his moon)

The former guy, right now lives in my city (moved on with the other girl but they
ended relatively soon) and we have seen us a couple of times. I don't feel physical attraction to him, but we have some common tastes and common way to talk in our conversations, that sometimes looks weird.

Right now tNep is conjunct my NN and my Mercury, so I donīt know how it can affect my love life, but three years ago, I felt in love in such spiritual and mental way that I felt me alive again in years, even I have to accept that I suffered a strong desilution after that.

The illusion that can put Neptune in our love lives can be a blessing and a curse at the same time...
