I'd like to hear people's experience with this aspect in the composite chart. How has this played out for you? Is it really all doomed in the 12th house? Thanks!IP: Logged |

So far it hasn't played out very well for me, but i suppose it's because my partners arent 12 house oriented people in their natal chart, neither am i.IP: Logged |

Not sure what it means to be 12th house oriented? Could you explain?

Had a 10 month relationship with 12th House sun in composite. I'm a 12th house sun natally but at the time I was not mature enough to be in a relationship with that person. I was going through alot of rough changes in life and I was not in any shape to be able to explore the potentials of a 12th house relationship. However, I did have dreams about this person, occasionally, even a year or two after we broke up. It has ceased completely now, though. I've always viewed this person as someone who was able to open my eyes to alot of things, and although we are not meant to be together, we both had a strong impact on each other's lives after. Our relationship was kept a secret since he was also a co-worker at the time. I didn't like that. IP: Logged |

To be 12th house oriented natally is to be in line with that which can't be bought or sold, kept or valued in any traditional way. That which can't be seen, under normal circumstances. It is the house of the mystic, the great mystery, impenetrable and yet permeating everything so that it is revealed in every facet of things. We find our spirit where everything else has been stripped away, by circumstance or by death or by loss or by isolation. By hospitalization; by monastic vow; by true isolation we come into contact with the never ceasing divine light. To be 12th house oriented in relationship means acknowledging the ephemeral nature of the connection is that which also makes it strong. It means sacrifice in such a huge sense that it is kind of hard to talk about... you are aware that through every action you are on the path of service and you are never straying a single step. To stray is to go against the code of the relationship. If the relationship tries to survive under false pretenses, it buckles. The commitment to truth and awareness of doing the right thing because it's the ONLY thing must be absolute. Really, 12th house people are the ultimate idealists. Dreamers. Only the very very best, because there is this awareness of ephemerality and also the power of creation! If everything in the world is possible why would you ever settle for less than everything? It's a very all or nothing placement, composite wise. The ego, the vitality of the relationship is subsumed by the light of the rising sun. It is on the horizon, it is totally sublimated by... itself? Getting my symbolism crossed here. Anyhow .. A 6th house planet to ground the relationship can make a huge difference, according to a recent reading I received. IP: Logged |

It's also a very karmic placement... what i was blabbing about wanting the best isn't really the deal... the deal is you're not in control. 6th house? Yes. You're in control. 12th house? No. You're not. And whatever karma has to play out is going to; it will go more smoothly if you can consciously choose to act selflessly and remember the importance of True Love all the time...IP: Logged |

An example of 12th house oriented:Me-- *Venus peregrine in the 12th house is ruler of my 7th house, which means I'm hyper 12th house oriented when it comes to relationships especially... *Moon conjunct Neptune orb 0'02 makes me extra Neptunian and thus 12th house oriented *North Node in Pisces makes this all good for me lol Him (my "friend")-- *Venus, Chiron, Part of Fortune, Mars, and chart ruler Mercury in the 12th house *Neptune conjunct South Node squares his Moon *Juno in Pisces square his Ascendant ^^12th house oriented So we're both equipped for: Midpoint composite-- Sun, Mercury, and Moon in the 12th (Sun/Merc form an opposition to Venus in the 6th. He has Mars opposite Saturn/Pluto in his chart, which fall in the 6th. He also has his descendant ruler and MC ruler (Jupiter/Uranus) conjuct near the end of the 6th, so we could say he operates along the 12th/6th house polarity with some skill in general, and this bleeds into his relations Auth others a good deal... we can note as well a great deal of tension and weight on the area of meaningful spiritual concrete material manifestation of things/spirit very much infused in daily life) In Davison-- we only have the Moon in the 12th, on the anti-vertex and nearly conjuct the ascendant (3 degrees). The Sun, Venus and Mercury fall in the 6th in the Davison and it is a chart which speaks to physical manifestation and grounding of the relationship. We've only been kinda together 2 months, but have known each other many years and love each other surely. Where it will go i certainly can't tell you. It's a complicated thing! But there is love and so long as love remains i don't mind i think both of us being who we are it's as solid and healthy as possible lol..

Well, he was a pisces, so I think he may have felt comfortable or rather, more comfortable with this placement in the composite. He was introverted to begin with, but on occasion would break out of it. He liked to do a lot on his own, or in private. He spend much time in his study, researching and what not. I on the other hand enjoy talking and visiting others. 12th house for me felt uncomfortable, but i managed to find other things inside of the relationship to work on while he did his thing. Of course we had several other aspects involved, but for the purpose of answering your question, I think someone with heavy Pisces or Neptune placements would feel more comfortable in a 12th house sun composite. Its when you have natally planets in your 12Th, or have a very strong pisces/neptune influence in your chart, it would make you more receptive of such energies. IP: Logged |

In our composite chart, sun, mercury and Venus are in the 12th house in Taurus. We have been together since the day we met. Not too long. Since 2008. It isn't all that difficult. You need to be brutually honest with each other. My husband and I are very straight forward and honest with each other. And yes there will be a place for spiritualism in your interaction. Or it will feel ethereal. Other worldly. Once you have been in a loving 12th house relationship, anything else wouldn't be enough. But all those masks will have to come off. IP: Logged |
