I have a Venus/Neptune DW with the person I have been in a long distance relationship with for over 6 years. In regard to the shadow side of this aspect, I look to the natals to see if there is already an underlying propensity for deception. Naturally, one has to consider past history and psychology. Time stands still with this aspect. ------------------ Claire "When going gets weird, the weird turn pro." -HST IP: Logged |

Yeah, I have a DW Venus-Neptune with someone I have a connection with, I've been curious about it myself. His Neptune trine my Venus (0), conjunct my Jupiter near my DC in the 7th. My Neptune-Eros opposite his Venus-Chiron (4). The thing about this is, he has a Natal Venus-Chiron conjunction opposite a Saturn-Uranus conjunction. His Venus-Chiron falls in my 12th house (along with his Mercury, which sits exactly on my North Node), conjunct my Juno, which is hitting an important configuration in my chart. The Saturn-Uranus is conjunct my Neptune-Eros (0). There's also a DW Venus-Pluto in the mix, though. His Pluto opposite my Venus (0). My Pluto trine his Venus-Chiron (3). He has a natal Moon-Pluto square, and my Venus forms a T-square with it in synastry (with his Moon at the apex of it, conjunct my Psyche in my 8th). I do think they're relevant and I look at these with caution... IP: Logged |

Why do you look at this aspect with caution? Is there something you don't like about this aspect? quote: Originally posted by MorpHnStorM: Yeah, I have a DW Venus-Neptune with someone I have a connection with, I've been curious about it myself. His Neptune trine my Venus (0), conjunct my Jupiter near my DC in the 7th. I believe the Venus/Neptune is a love aspect well based on what I've read it is. quote: Originally posted by fireopal09: I have a Venus/Neptune DW with the person I have been in a long distance relationship with for over 6 years. We have it DW. My Venus opposes his Neptune, his Venus squares my Neptune. It gives that "You are the one", "Been looking for you all my life" vibe even just by looking at the person. Soulmates and twins, spiritual connection, high idealistic love, daydreaming with each other and so on.It's good to have some Saturn synastry to keep both feet on the ground just so to not put the other person on a pedestal that does not exist, meaning, idealizing too much someone and then in the end not really seeing them for who they are in reality. I have had the square in my most recent relationships over the last 10 years or so. Except for one, it had the opposition in our synastry. Neptune has been a big fat jerk. To be honest, I'm so sick of Neptune's bull poop! ------------------ “Most people would rather be sheep than stand on their own with antlers on.” IP: Logged |

My experience of Neptune trine Venus is that you are very tolerant towards each others short comings. It's very forgiving and you both may enjoy music and artistic stuff very much. Romantic. I have this aspect with my husband of 13 years. His Neptune is trine my Venus in fire and my Neptune is trine his Mars in water. We have had our fair share of things, fights, irritations, hardship but we always forgive, understand and there is much much love that will transmute it all. We also have my Jupiter trine his Sun and his Jupiter conjunct my Moon. It does help overcome those ugh times. Feeling all jolly and humorous together. Like young children fighting and the next minute they play again. Neptune trine Venus is just lovely! But yes, it does depend on the rest, the natal promise and the synastry .... IP: Logged |

I'm not sure what natal promise is but I've always thought the Venus/Neptune aspect was a nice one regardless. quote: Originally posted by Sylven: My experience of Neptune trine Venus is that you are very tolerant towards each others short comings. how an astrologer decides if two people have mars trine neptune in their natal chart and in composite mars opposite neptune that one is gay?
