CHIRON (his) trine her SUN (1 orb), VENUS (exact), MARS (2 orb).

I dont have the hour for the guy, so I dont know the house overlays.

And on a more serious note, there are some of their methods that have merit and that I find valuable. Though they have NOT been invented by the Magi, even though they claim they have. (talking about planetary synchronization and the declinations in particular).

Other things I have not found to be of that much value, at least not in the way they interprete them.

As for Chiron-Venus, yes, the positive aspects can be indicative of a beautiful connection. Not in the "waving-the-magic-wand-and-poof-you`re-a-Cinderella" way though.

The reason why I also believe that Chiron IS coming up often in soulmate-connections, is that he is the one that bridges the personal/ physical sphere (ending with Saturn) to the transformational/ transpersonal sphere (starting with Uranus).

The bridging process however will also involve some growing-pain, something the Magi omit consistently.
So Chiron aspects make you feel very vulnerable and raw inside, that is of course a deep and soulful thing (I mean seriously whoever can make you feel soulfully naked must have quite some impact on you), but it is not all roses and candy and fluff, it`s much deeper than that, and you will have to be very honest with yourself and probably will be facing the issues, you maybe do not quite want to face; but only through facing those issues you can heal them or transcend them in a way.

Now Venus in smooth aspect to Chiron certainly can help doing that by adding that loving vibe (as long as Venus is not squared or oposed or quinkunx some harsher energies of course, like Mars, Saturn, Uranus or Pluto; the harsh aspects to Neptune could be problematic as well, but more in the sense of that things might not be as they seem.).
