Hey guys, I really need some insight on my situation. I'm not going into detail but I just ended my two year relationship and this is one of the hardest things I ever had to face. I do believe this person has a significant impact on my life and I do still really love him and I know he loves me. I know we're both young and I just hope the time apart will only be a phase. I'm a little split in my decision to keep hope and pray for the best and just preparing to move on. And it extremely hard to image me with anyone else because I believe we have the potential to make things work for the long term. From this, what was it I was supposed to learn? What's the lesson? At the same time, another part of me has the deepest strangest feeling it isn't really over between us & that really scares me. Not sure what to do here. I would really just like some advice. My chart: His: Synastry: Composite: Davison: The day we meant (found this so interesting): IP: Logged |

I can see why you feel torn, you have a nice synastry and nice composites Its possible its just a break. Sometimes breaks can strenghten a bond as missing each other can make the heart grow fonder and give you perspective. IP: Logged |

Thank you so much for replying and your opinion. I've noticed a lot of different people around me have been saying the same. I hope everyone is right at the end.

I think your Sun tightly inconjunct/quincunx his Juno might have contributed to the breakup. It's a minor aspect so it doesn't hold as much plwer as a conjunction, square etc., but I think in certain synastry aspects it really plays out. It's difficult for you to have a partnership because your personality is at cross purposes with what he wants in a partner. I do like your North Node close to his Juno; they're too far to be conjunct, but I think since they're conjunct within 4 degrees you might have both felt it was a fated, karmic love union.IP: Logged |

Inconjunctions are very karmic and powerful on their own and specially when its part of a yod. In her case her juno sextiles his juno and both inconjunct her sun forming a yod. Yods are fated, create attraction and draw people together. Its part of the 12th harmonic. IP: Logged |

Hypatia238, do you mind elaborating a little about this, because I am interested, too? I have searched online about quinqunxes and yods, especially in synastry, but I have trouble finding anything significant, although I did read somewhere that they are karmic as you said. Thank you very much!

Yods and inconjunctions are stressful indeed but also create a lot of attraction. Her sun is the focal point of the yod so she is feeling the stress the most, maybe she is feeling a lot of pressure to be his ideal girlfriend which is at odds with who she is while also feeling a lot of pressure to measure up to her own ideals of the ideal girlfriend also a bit at odds with who she is.Maybe all this pressure from him and herself pushed her to break up. http://sasstrology.com/2014/07/inconjuncts-in-synastry-agree-to-disagree.html Sunascendant is on to something. Thank you for you input. I do feel like I can definitely relate to that fact that I was concerned with trying to be his ideal girl, it did put a lot of pressure on me. In the article they say that the focal point of the yod tells why we've come together. So since my sun is the focal point, what does that mean? IP: Logged |
