It's all been a bit ...  But I've managed to land okay, and (relatively) unscathed. Though, Kansas has gone bye-bye, and the trip down the rabbit-hole was bumpier than expected. There were many times I wasn't sure who I was anymore, or where I would end up -- how, or with whom -- or if I'd just be completely solo. In a lot of those times, though, I remembered my friends. I remembered everyone who's been here throughout the journey with me, offering advice and camaraderie, sharing in joys and sorrows, and just, altogether, being so very dear to me. So, thank you. Thank you so much. Because it's a crazy world out there, outside the confines of our little (relatively) harmonious bubble. So I've gone places. Done things. Made mistakes, and good decisions, pecked a bit more out of my shell, poked a wing-tip outside of the chrysalis, no longer the amorphous goo I had been. Now just a clumsy new butterfly, trying to navigate a whole new form of terrain. And thus, the thing I'd do most immediately after that is return to my friends.
