My two most resonant sexualove partners both have a powerfully aspected natal Moon in the 6th House. Anybody here have experiences with this? I wonder what is the attraction for me, and why it appears in both greatest loves of my life.

My current SO has his moon in 6H and in Leo. He is very reliable and he always told me that he wants to take care of me. Swoon!

Wow! Thanks for sharing that, Starry.

"wants to take care of me" really resonates. First one was a skilled craftsperson who made custom leather clothing for me, and was a gourmet natural cook. *drooling* Other one, with Leo Moon, worked as a secretary (I playfully called her my "sexretary"!). *merry laughter*

I <3 the 6th house. Yes, real world love and care... the axis between the 6th and 12th is the bridge between spirit and matter it seems. I can't think of the 6th without thinking of the 12th house. Also if we go with houses sequentially, as the precursor to the 7th house, preparing for partnership, and antecedent to the 5th of creativity and fun and love n stuff, it seems like it can be very important in terms of building a life together. It isn't just something to be hustled through to get on to the good stuff. With benefics there especially, but also with the heavier planets, we see a real focus and care being put into the mundane daily activities which imbues them with power and meaning. I think 6th house people are excellent at truly living in the moment, with a lot of reverence for daily tasks and the material manifestation of this beautiful universe. It is a joy to be with them.

Not to mention the vibration with Virgo, maybe the most underrated and arguably the most purely beautiful sign, with a lot of strength and guts. Had a dream that Miss Virgo won the zodiac beauty pageant once

Nice dream wisdom, YG! I like your juxtaposition of 5th, 6th, 7th. We create and play in 5H, serve and dedicate in 6H, partner up and bond in 7H. Natural Hygiene, pets and Dharma are 6H matters. Evidently I love girls who feel drawn to serve Mother Nature, care for living beings, and humanity.

Yes! Dharma! How do we engage with mother earth? How do we sustain right relationship, demonstrate pur gratitude through concrete action, and move into a place of balance thereby? It seems that especially those planets which straddle the axis of the 6th/7th speak to this... just as a planet on the 12th house side of the ascendant takes on special power (in my view)...

I feel in some ways all the earth houses get short shrift in a society woefully bereft of meaningful, conscious, acknowledged connection with the earth... the more in touch with the importance of honouring and caring for her we are, the more these houses take on depth and make sense. I mean.. as for the 2nd: money and resources sounds kinda blah until you realize it represents ALL of the raw materials which go into making life on earth possible, the physical realm of manifestation, the glory of nature before our hands have been put to it... and the 6th is when we start to structure and order these things, to till the earth, to weave... and do you think we harvest in the 10th? The manifestation of our life's path; the village house, the patriarch/matriarch, the elder, the chief (also symbolized by the 9th; and the village flourishing by the 11th; but the physical stuff that's visible that makes it all possible, the work which has gone in, the 10th!)... it is that which has been sustained and brought to fruition by all of this, yes? Growing food isn't boring/plodding/peripheral! It's essential! Animals aren't boring!
Anyway.

My lover and I have a Sun/Mercury/Venus in the 6th house in Davison, put our Suns in one another's sixth house, and he is a 6th house person, very much (Saturn/Pluto as well as Jupiter/Uranus there)... we both talk all the time about our love of nature; he is really into mycelium and mushroom hunting and I love eildcrafting and traditional indigenous ways of life, ceremony which weaves it all together, and have lived in off grid eco villages off and on for years. In this way we are very much aligned and the 6th house focus makes a lot of sense for us.
