Yes, it's tough, maybe it's too tough for me that I am searching it, lol, but I have a feeling that patterns in synastry and composite work, although I really know very little about them, so this must work, too! But I can't figure out how..

Neptune (and Pallas) as the "apex" in 23 18 sag
sesquiquadrate Mercury in 6 30 taurus
sesq. North Node in 6 19 Leo (I don't know if nodes should be counted in patterns though)
(Mercury squares North Node)

or/and
Neptune-Pallas as the apex
sesq. Moon in 9 47 Leo
sesq. Venus in 9 56 Taurus

Then, in synastry :
I have a natal jupiter-sun square and here comes his venus which sesquiquadrates both and forms the Hammer.
His Venus 16 11 pisces
sesq. my Jupiter 1 25 scorpio
sesq. my sun 0 32 Leo

What does your Neptune Rule, perhaps you should just post the composite.

What house does Neptune fall on and mercury and northnode?

Perhaps you two are very idealistic and talking about were you are heading as a couple and your future goals etc can be challenging often leading to misunderstandings, avoiding certain topics for the sake of keeping things light and dreamy and worse case lead to perhaps even lying at times or keeping things from each other to preserve this dream or idea of how things will be like.

Maybe you do talk about your future together and your dreams but it seems to lead to misunderstandings or you two criticizing each others dreams or others criticizing your dreams and goals as a couple.

The other two you are mentioning I am thinking create attraction bc they are like a Love Thor's Hammer. Maybe you guys react very emotional towards each other and get jealous easily leading to big fights that should have been avoided but you feel this compulsion to be together.

Here is the composite

So Neptune rules the composite 12th house..is this really bad??? lol
Neptune in 9th
Mercury in 1st
NN in 5th

I am not sure about this "perhaps even lying at times or keeping things from each other to preserve this dream or idea of how things will be like.", I hope not lol, but I have thought about it a lot, since neptune also opposes our compo s/m midpoint..
