What's the aspect and the relationship? The Mars person usually has an affinity for the Venus persons femininity, style, or the way they carry themselves in public. IP: Logged |

I have the square with someone. He is very aggressive and demonstrative with his sexual advances, but anything on an emotional level, he runs for the hills. IP: Logged |

Depends on the people involved and the overall aspect picture. The square can be very passionate and sparkly (or too much friction). IP: Logged |

Hard aspects create attraction too without a doubt, I feel all venus to mars aspects create attraction its just that hard aspects come with its challenges.Venus opposition other person's Mars This is a relationship that is sparked by an irresistible sexual attraction and romantic desire. Your passion and desire for one another will always remain alive. If either of you is prone to possessiveness or jealousy, then you may find yourself feeling very uncomfortable by even subtle indications that you are competing with other suitors. Venus square other person's Mars This is likely to be a stormy and fiery relationship. The romantic attraction between you is very strong, but your feelings are often not in tune with each other. One of you (typically the Mars person but sometimes the Venus person) may feel sexually aroused by the other and consequently be too aggressive in approach, while the other person feels great love and affection, but is not feeling as sexually attracted. The conflict here is all in the timing. The Venus person may sometimes find the Mars person comes on too strong, and is often offended or taken aback by his or her directness. Jealousy and possessiveness are also likely. Feelings can swing back and forth and you may not realize how much you love each other until you are away from each other. http://www.cafeastrology.com/synastry/venus_mars_aspects.html IP: Logged |

I can only comment on Mars/Venus conjunction.I being Venus felt my most feminine, fragile but safe, not vulnerable at all. He felt like a knight, a real man in my presence. There's no competition or feeling of inadequacy between the two. It just felt right. But maybe I have to add that not only my Venus was conjunct his Mars, his Venus was conjunct my Mars. IP: Logged |

That sounds so lovely. But you speak in past tense. You guys are no longer together? What was in the chart that broke you up in spite of these amazing double whammy? IP: Logged |

Belage,No, we never got together as a couple. I live abroad. Every 3-4 years I visited he always looked for way to get closer. I guess it's because he remembered how it felt. Now he is married. Last time I saw him he was not (because I visit so rarely). Anyways, I have a feeling that if I did not avoid contact with him back then, 100% we'd be married now. Sometimes you just know. But I had my reasons. IP: Logged |

I know Sasstrology has a whole series on this, in which they explore what each of the combinations feel like. (You can find the list here). But - I'd still like to know more. For instance, what kind of Venus would make a normally passive mars aggressive (in pursuit). For instance, if the Venus-Mars opposition has mars in Pisces, does that make him more of a go-getter because of the pull? IP: Logged |
