I understand hard aspects are the most powerful and how the moon nodes can indicate a karmic connection with someone however i can't ignore a DW aspect i have with something currently. His sun/moon midpoint semi-sextile my NN in the 4th house, My sun/moon midpoint semi-sextile his NN in the 12th house. There is a theme her as both of our Nodes are in the house of endings 4th,8th,12th houses. plus the we have a DW semi-sextile taking place, i simply can't ignore this aspect. Anyone have something like this in synastry with anyone from the past?

..

my friend and his friend have this double whammy but in their case it's a conjuction and semisquare of nodes to sun/moon midpoint.

They are having a little bit of trouble ending their association. Likely it will never really end as they care deeply about one another... but she's in another partnership.... Blah blah blah

If something really speaks to you in your studies of personal charts it's good to follow your hunches about the meaning therein. Who knows? Maybe in a hundred years the semi sextile and quincunx will both be significant in midpoint analysis. At this time I've only heard whispers of a potential for reading into quincunxes to midpoints but there has been a whisper so...

But really follow your gut... nobody knows your synastry better than you and the significance of the house placements, etc, etc, could be huge. It's a complex tapestry.

Still most will say to really keep to the 90 degree dial with midpoints, which is my practise. I never even consider anything but conj/opp/square/sesqui- and semi-squares.

How do you do synastry with the midpoints? Is there a way to do it on astro.com?

I try to find out what my sun/moon midpoint is and I don't know how.

Go to Pullen/Astrolog and click Aspect/Midpoint grid chart in astro.com

It doesn't calculate synastry but gives you midpoints of planets nodes and a certain amount of asteroids; you can compare those degrees your midpoints fall on with planets and points in somebody else's chart

I recommend looking at conjunctions, oppositions and squares first. Semisquares are 45 degree from any given midpoint and the sesquisquare is the point opposite each semisquare (these form a grand cross just like the conj/opposition/square, so in all you have 8 potential hits for any midpoint! So fun lol

Exactly im glad you understand. Yes I know my synastry between me and him pretty well. I broke up with my sun conjunct moon in synastry girlfriend. It's been pretty rough but I had to let her go because I couldn't commit to her.

Anyways yes I just can't ignore this DW semi sextile aspect to both our midpoints it just speaks so much to me and it's very strange. For example there's so much mirroring between our natal charts. Most of my chart is Cardinal and mutable and he's mostly fixed and mutable. Yeah but unfornately he's resisting to have anything with me. All I can do is sit and wait for this man to leave my life.
