I don't know about that one. I think I'd look to progressions before transits personally. It could be valid and sounds interesting. Would expect to see something significant by progression also.

I'm talkin about progressed Sun and Venus aspecting one another or the natal Sun/Venus/angles. Not transiting Sun and Venus. This doesn't happen often.

But it's going to be different for everyone... sometimes transits will seem to tell the story. It depends on where you're looking and what you're looking for

1. Solar Arc
SA Sun/South Node/DSC had began to arch towards my natal Venus, while SA Venus had began to arch towards my natal Sun/Node/DSC at the same time ( long term of 1 1/2 to 1 year time frame). This a very rare occurrence because it involved a double SA between the same planets.

2. Venus Return
My Venus return for the following year was very Venusian - Sun/Venus/Node/Valentine conjunction which was at the base of a kite and received a pleade of aspects- that narrowed the time frame to one year.

3. Transit
The approaching Solar Arc mentioned above repeated itself in a transit - I noticed that TR North Node will approach with a conjunction my natal Venus in July/August - which preceeded the SA conjunction and narrowed the time frame to 2 months.

4. Tertiary Progression
The Tertiary progression pinpointed the meeting to one particular month - August. The tertiary progressed ASC had moved to 17' Libra which was my natal Venus, and TP Uranus was exactly on top of it.

This DW is really really something, tied to the angles and running like a thread through all the possible charts.

Actually you inspired me to check my own Venus-return-for the year I met Mr Sag, who even if not having lead to a romantic relationship definitely had a very transforming effect on my life. (and as time showed apparently I must have had some impact on him as well, be it from that first meeting on or somewhen later)

I had to laugh out loud when I saw that in the Venus Return chart ASC was EXACT on my natal Moon (and conjunct return Chiron by 1 degree or so). His Venus Return ASC fell exactly onto his own n Chiron. LOL
(which actually makes a Grand trine with his Mars-Jupiter-conjunction and my Venus).

(we also met with an exact transiting Chiron-NN-conjunction which was in orb for conjunct Neptune as well)

BTW I saw him on a concert 3 months prior to that first actual meeting (you know with talking) and well he saw me too on that concert, but there was no talking then so I do not count it as first meeting. Anyway that concert, after which I made the decision to have "another look at that strange guy" took place just a week after a solar ecclipse which was exactly conjunct my n Moon (and about 2 weeks before a lunar ecclipse which was exact on his n NN and his prenatal solar ecclipse; the Saturn of the actual first meeting three months later would be EXACT on that degree of the lunar ecclipse on his NN as well - no wonder I felt as if I had no choice but meeting him that night. I remember the most curious feeling as if acting out some kind of script, that in fact had already been written, just I did not know the words beforehand or the actions, but only in the actual moment. It was a strange and bizarre night. )

Actually I remember how I was doubling over with laughter when I realized that I - unintentionally- had picked the EXACT day for a re-connection (and trying to ground the connection more in the, I don`t know, just something that did not feel vague and where I did not feel like I was avoiding something, maybe simply acknowledging my Chirotic wound of paranoia and realizing that I had messed up due to that paranoia and manoevered me into that Neptunian corner, and just feeling like I wanted to act more grown-up. I hadn`t anticipated him to be THAT responsive though. He gave the impresion as if he had just WAITED for that. lol)

Anyway so on the very day of that re-meeting our composite had its Venus-Return! (just a few hours prior) and in fact there was an exact Saturn-Karma-conjunction on our composite MC (and square my n Moon) and we re-met just about 2 weeks after the solar ecclipse in november, which had been taking place on our composite ruler Uranus, and when we talked again, Tr Mercury had been hitting that spot.

I guess I need to keep an eye on those ecclipses

Which remindes me the recent ecclipse took place on my progressed Jupiter, n Juno and maybe most interesting (though not unchallenging) on the DESC-Chiron-conjunction in my current Venus-Return, which had just started the month before. lol

The year we met, my Progressed chart was making a ton of tight aspects to my Natal. Notably on the day we met,
- My PMoon squared my NSun and SAMoon exactly. It also conjunct my PPof and NMC.
- My PVenus conjunct my NSun, NMerc and NDC within 2 degrees of each other
- PJupiter conjunt my NVenus within 2 degrees. This configuration conjuncts his NMoon.
- PNeptune opposed PMars and this aspect conjunct my NVertex exactly (we have a tight Mars-Netune DW in synastry)

Oddly, in both of our solar returns that year we had our ACs at 16 degrees Cancer and MCs at 26 degrees Pisces. His SRMC squared his NPluto exactly and conjunct his NDC by 5 degrees. My SRMC squared my NUranus exactly and opposed my NMoon by 5 degrees. Our SRAC's also conjunct my NVertex at 5 degrees and trined his NVertex at 5 degrees.

Well, now that I try to type it out I realized that idk how to describe our meeting without sounding super cliche lol. We have a ton of Neptune contacts in synastry and our composite so when we met that was definitely felt from the beginning. We were brought together because of a funeral - someone he cared for very deeply passed away and he was pretty upset about it. He couldn't make it to the wake because of last minute work so we didn't connect. The next day I missed the funeral because of some last minute work so we missed another opportunity to connect. The next day we both decided, very last minute, to meet up for a get-together with mutual friends and family and that's where we finally connected. It was his last night in town and we both seriously considered skipping it - I always find that little sequence of events interesting

When we met, I could feel our Neptune-Moon DW immediately (though I didn't know that's what it was at the time). I suddenly felt emotions that I knew weren't my own - I felt hot and started turning bright red and felt like I was going to faint. I felt an overwhelming feeling of sadness and loss - like my mother had past away. I also felt an overwhelming urge to hug/comfort him and I felt slight physical pain in my chest. Idk how to describe it, but I could literally see experiences he had and I just knew things about him that no one else knew. After meeting him, the first month or so I would randomly burst out into tears for no reason when I thought about him and I started lucid dreaming for the first time.

I am not psychic or anything so it was a weird experience - I personally believe I was tapping in to some psychic link but I obviously can't say for sure lol. Apart from the crazy Neptune face-slap, we clicked immediately from the instant we met - we would say the same thing at the same time and our manner of speaking was the same, if that makes sense (Neptune-Mercury). We found we could finish each other's sentences and could communicate without speaking. It was a very interesting first meeting

Through our friendship we keep discovering eerie syncronicity between us. He also confessed to me a few months after knowing each other that he had the same reaction when we met including the random emotional outbursts. Strange but very interesting. That meeting was the reason I started pursuing Astrology more Just needed to try and make sense of it all. Not quite sure what it all means yet, as things are still relatively new in the grand scheme of things, but it is interesting to look back and start to see those patterns pop up.

I don't know if I'm more amazed that people can connect in these mystical ways or that Astrology is apparently the "energy map" that can guide us through and elaborate on those mystical experiences
