A colleague discovered his girl friend had cheated on him and broke off their relationship when transiting Neptune was conjunct his Descendant. He was devastated!!IP: Logged |

Not in a synastry chart. You can either see them in a natal or a composite.IP: Logged |

We need to distinguish between 2 separate things.1) Transits for your natal for when you discover that your partner is cheating. 2) Transits in your partner's natal which reveal that they may be cheating or lying. I am not sure how a composite might feature here other than signs of trouble. IP: Logged |

I mean these aspects in a composite show problems. in a composite when the node makes hard aspects, conjunction or square to these, the incident of infidelity likely will occur.

In Vedic astrology, the North Node (knows as Rahu) rules illusions and deceptions. When I was "cheated" on by a friend who I was in love with: Tr. NN square my n. Moon (1')
Tr. NN square my n. Mars (1')
Tr. NN trine my n. DESC (0')
Tr. Sun square my n. NN (2')
Tr. Jupiter square my n. NN (0')
As for Neptune:
Tr. Neptune opposite n. Sun (1')
Tr. Neptune conjunct n. Saturn (DESC-lord) (2')
