So I've learned to take transits seriously whether they're to composite, progressed composite, Davison, pr. Davison, natal charts... etc. I know that much

However I wonder if any of you have noticed a predominance of impact on any particular chart in observing transits to these various types of relationship charts. Progressed vs. Composite, etc?

Anyway the most pressing question I have, as well as wondering about your views on the above matter, is this:

You must have observed t. Saturn squaring/opposing the composite Chiron at some point if you've been observing transits to long term relationships. At these times, it's my theory that the couples who pulled through this particular transit likely had

A) a pronounced need for this kind of relationship at this time due to corresponding natal/progressed aspects which require this kind of hard work

and/or

B) very supportive transits happening simultaneously or really nice solid relationship overall to help them get through the challenge of examining difficulties so ruthlessly

and/or

c) great difficulties in maintaining the relationship without a lot of division and strife and imbalance/sense of restriction

That will likely be there even if there are simultaneous positive aspects... and maybe I'm stereotyping one aspect and blowing it out of proportion (likely).

It's interesting to note that I presently have progressed Saturn opposite pr. Chiron (2 degrees, applying). I also have Saturn opposite Chiron in my heliocentric chart.

Now, a disclaimer: I have seen enough examples of long term relationships with dreaded Saturn-Chiron aspects to know this isn't an automatic death knell but it does seem to necessitate a lot of deep and unpleasant work taking place in less than easy, expansive circumstances... sort of like karmic drudgery which is hazardous and painful and occurs in a dark basement.

I am so unable to look objectively at my own charts/transits that I am turning to you all to help me get a little perspective on this transit. It's been really challenging. It's applying exact now 0'35... we've already been over this once when Saturn was direct and shall again.

My big question is:

How have the couples you've known weathered this transit? Did it mark major episodes of healing/challenge,break ups, anything notable you've noticed would be much appreciated.

Bonus question: How have you experienced transiting Venus square composite Uranus--if you've noticed

You can read between the lines and see we're having a hard go of it at the moment. I initiated the hard time this morning by being sulky--first time that it's been me causing the problem--but he, Aries Sun/Moon that he is (gotta love em) has almost 0 patience for my difficulties and takes it to the utmost extreme when i bring up my unhappiness or discomfort.

Edit/update: doing much better. He is good at least at knowing when he's said something which hurt and apologizing very sincerely and crying for having hurt me sigh.. whole real person.

Pluto square composite Venus, might have had a hand in my reconnecting with them. Jupiter was also trine composite Mercury/our Mercury/Mercury conjunction. We aren't together, but we have talked about it. Saturn is square composite Sun, and a square to composite Mercury was also active when we reconnected June of last year, and then again in December. Uranus had crossed composite Mars, and was a few degrees away. Moon was conjunct composite Jupiter/Ceres. Mars square composite Venus and Sun. Mercury square composite Sun. Venus sextile composite Mercury.

We have Mercury, Venus, Chiron, and Sun in a wide conjunction in Aries, in the composite, opposing Uranus in Libra. So, Saturn and Pluto have both been square them (not opposed), since some time last year. We talked the way we should have, over a decade ago. We could easily annoy each other, and stop speaking again, but I'm very grateful that we talked things out, and have an ongoing friendship/potential relationship right now.
