Below is a synastry chart of me and my colleague. I need some clarification of why I feel like this man is my twinflame or something very karmic. I have never felt this connection with someone before. I'm noticing a grand trine and mystic rectangle. As I recall, those are soul mate patterns right? And does he feel the same about me?

Here's a little story about why I feel he might be my twinflame:
So, I met him in fall 2014. I knew from first meeting a weird warm feeling formed inside me, and that it must have meant something, but I didn't think much about because I wanted to concentrate on school. We didn't communicate at all in the beginning, but it felt like we already knew each other so no words needed to be said. Gradually we started to communicate more, and it became more apparent that our meeting together meant something significant in our lives. We're so in sync-- we say things at the same time, yawn at the same time, move at the same time, most of the time we get each other. It's kind of scary. And now I like him, a lot. All preconceived notions about me never forgetting about my ex is long gone. My head is filled with thoughts about this person. It was only after working together as a team on a project for a month and then finishing it and not seeing each other again for a week was when I started to miss him really bad, and realized that I really like him.

I really like being around him, but now that I know I like him I get nervous and sometimes don't know what to say to him. At the end of 2016 we'll be graduating, I feel we will part ways after that. So I am just enjoying this for now and see where this goes. Starting tomorrow we'll be teaming up again for a project, I'm really looking forward to it.

Hey Faith, thanks for the reply! You've helped me through my tough time. I'm really thankful for that.
Yeah Mars conjunct mars makes sense with us doing the same things at the same time, even with it being a wide aspect. But I don't really know his birth time so the aspect might be closer. Hopefully he'll know when I ask him.

I'm no expert but what jumps out at me right away is there are holes here. Your Sun, Venus and Mars (if you don't count the wide conj.) are not majorly aspected and neither is his Mars or Saturn/Uranus. Your Moon is getting a lot of good vibes here - from his Neptune, Venus and Mercury with the intensity of Pluto thrown in AND sits on his ASC so it is no wonder he is stirring something strong deep within you.

I'm not sure if the holes would show themselves over time or if there are other factors to compensate for this. The patterns are nice to have however they don't always spell a fulfilling long-term romantic relationship.
