How does it look in your relationship. You can be as literal as you like. Like a story or a moment where it's blatantly obvious that you share this aspect in synastry with someone. And how do you handle it in your relationship?

And while we're on it, sun square Venus can join too.

Correct me if I'm wrong but does this sound like Venus square Venus? Maybe it's another aspect lol but I thought it was 😂

Me: "oooo I'd love one of those mulled ciders. I get them EVERY time I come here"
Manfriend (has no idea what I'm talking about) "a what?!?" To barman "a mulled cider thing please and a Heineken"
Barman brings it over. Manfriend takes a disgusted look at the steaming drink and goes "who ARE you???"
Me: "hahahaha"
Manfriend: "now let's hurry up and finish these drinks coz I can't wait to take you home and f**k you"

It's exactly as anyone who knows astrology would guess. It plays out exactly like that in real life!

Him: If we travel, I have to do all the work. I have to make the reservations, keep the car working, track our mileage and calculate fuel consumption, move the luggage....
Me: What if we just go camping??
Him: Stay in a TENT? People murder campers you know?

Him (sneering): You would.

Edit: LOL, I don't mean to make him look bad. He actually does a lot (Virgo acts of service) but it's a real pain for him because it's important that everything goes well. Meanwhile I always travelled by "winging it" before I knew him and it worked out fine. That's not his style.

we just like different things but it's not bad we kind of like that we have different taste he's also a Mars in Gemini so he likes that I bring new ideas and ways of doing things to his attention but at the end of the day our personal taste are just different he can play country music and I can't stand it haha

Also he's VERYYYYY punctual and on time and I'm pretty sloppy lmao I get to places late or I go to places at the spur of the moment and he's always like "I know how you are with your timing" and shakes his head, he loves to plan out his day and I'm just very go with the flow so we clash sometimes but we both are mature enough to shake it off and move on.

We play video games together and we always have different favorite characters or moves but its not really bad we make sure to respect each other's taste , I do realize that aspect makes us always share our values our likes our pretty much everything so I see that's how we are such good friends it's never a dull moment between us

@Faith - so glad you popped in to reply, I was waiting for it 😜 Wow that Venus square is exact!! I had to laugh a little at your sag wanting to be freeeeeee and hubby's negative side of Virgo emerging (I have Virgo moon so I get it lol). This is Venus square Venus to the absolute tee haha.

Yes that story I posted was about me and my Aries from my bday last year. I know the last bit sounded a little abrupt but we were both equally hanging to rip each other's clothes off 😅
Him: Aries Venus 28 deg, Aries sun 25 deg
Me: cancer Venus 25 deg (his sun/Venus also happen to square my sun/moon midpoint!!!! No wonder I'm hooked right!)
I'm hoping that the fact that they're both in cardinal signs might help a teensy bit....maybe? 😁

What's awesome is that you have remained friends and that you have other energising aspects to make up for it. This is what I'm hoping for in my rel with Aries. Just because we have sun/Venus square Venus, it doesn't rule out a happy rel right? At least I hope hahaha. We have a pretty kick ass synastry anyway so....🙃

your dialog reminds me of how literate the aspect between Venus-Venus is, actually.

Me and the Scorpio have the conjuncted Venuses, both in Libra. We like the same things.
Our travel itinerary is like that:

anyone of us:
- Wanna go some place away from here?
- Sure. Let me pick up some baggage.
- Do you feel like beach or mountain?
- Beach
- Ok, me too

I collect the luggage. Both get in the car.
Car starts driving. We drive about 400 miles south. Florida shows up.

- Where shall we stop?
- Just drive to the first beach place and we will start from there. One beach town a day, all the way south. What do you say?
- Sounds good to me.

Thanks, EmGem. It IS long-suffering but nobody's fault, just some hard elements in the synastry, and whatever. Karma.

As for love styles...

I still think he's hot as hell. It really helps our marriage that we can be arguing and he just has to put his hand on my leg and I melt....maybe not the first day, but eventually, I always cave to our physical chemistry. And something soulful and unspoken underneath all of that.

We have other synastry aspects to account for this physical compatibility, including SN conjunct SN in Taurus. His nodal axis trine and sextile my luminaries.

But his Saturn is conjunct my Venus and that puts a spin on things, like he doesn't want me hugging him in public (I saw your post about that Orange!! On the Venus-Saturn thread. LOL'd)

What I remember from the first and only time I looked at it lol is that there was a lot of Pluto and Saturn from his side especially. Plus he put a stellium of 4-5 planets in my 8th house. I put another stellium of 3 planets in his 12th.
Stories..hmmmm....let's see. There was a lot of intimacy and we were together for 24/7 since day one for all of the 7 years. But there were some frustrating moments. A lot were for little things, so I guess you are onto something with venus sq. venus. And I agree it is not being analysed so much! It really explains a lot in everyday life I think. (The Moon plays an important role in that, too, I guess).
So, we broke up after 7 years, but it is much better, although I was hurt back then. I have no regrets about it, in fact it was probably late, we had to have broken up years earlier, lol
What else are you interested in to know? Lol, if you have any questions, feel free to ask, I seem I can't remember a specific story on the subject and I don't want to derail. Sorry, but it's like a previous lifetime for me now..lol, total amnesia

I do love it although at times I don't feel like a typical cancer venus. I dunno, maybe because its in my 9th and coloured by my Taurus/Aqua Duad/Dwad. I need lots of space in my relationship. I do like to feel needed by him though and you're right i LOVE his Aries pursuit. I find the fire so damn attractive. Having said that, he seems like such a gentle Aries and he is so loving, warm and protective. He simply warms my soul. It could be because his sun/venus very tightly trine our moons, my mars.
We are still seeing each other although it's slow because of other circumstances. We share such a deep profound connection and have over many lifetimes. He admitted to me the other day that he's never letting me go

This is one square that I like in synastry. But this is probably because:
a) if it's in Gemini and closely squaring my own that means its also conjuncting my moon.
and b) if it's in Sagittarius it's trining my Sun.
Also, I have my Venus in the 9th house with my NN so that probably contributes.

I have friends with both Gem and Sag Venus, but I'm not close to anyone with Pisces Venus. Sometimes I find I relate to them more than people who have so-called compatible Venus's with my own. But there are some key differences in what we enjoy/like.

Ex>Friend with the Sag Venus likes the party-life, whereas it's really not my scene.
>With Gemini Venus I've noticed their style often leans toward the 'quirky, perky smart' look. Virgo Venus is more like....Librarian smart. One is more extroverted Mercury, the other introverted Mercury. My Gem Moon finds them cool though

Generally I think the mutable signs may find it easier, as we're flexible. I find it, mostly, stimulating.
