More specifically the square and the opposition because i love these aspects. I'd like to read experiences from you guys with theseMoon square Mars Moon opposite Venus For me Moon opp Venus seems amazing. I know there are a lot of other aspects that should be considered but i'm asking about these two. The orb is exact and the girl is the Moon in both cases. IP: Logged |

I don't know why you love them lol... moon square mars sounds aggressive to me. Moon opposition venus is just blah... they don't get each other and keep disappointing each other emotionally. When the moon really just want understanding the venus is just teasing them... like it's the opposite of what they need all the time (for some this can be "fun" but for others its draining their energy) IP: Logged |

The only aspects i had trouble so far were Saturn opposite Mars and Moon square Mercury.I also like Venus-Mars squares and oppositions. Maybe because i have a lot of squares in my chart I think easy aspects(but i mean, A LOT of them) like trines and sextiles work better in friendships, and even so i get bored. IP: Logged |

I am working on my "study" of LTR and marriages. There are a few interaspects that come up frequently. Beside Mars/Saturn, the two you, Nyctea, mentioned come up often but I don't know why.

I have noticed that people who have a lot of squares and oppositions like to have their aspects "closed" into a geometric pattern, thus a square in one natal chart is turned into a T-Square in synastry, or a T-Square becomes a Grand Cross, for example. On the other hand, people who have all their planets on one side of the chart with no hard aspects or one or two of them usually find someone who whose planets mainly conjunct theirs. IP: Logged |

@HelixIDThanks for bringing the T-square thing up . I don't understand it completely yet when it involves synastry. So whenever someone opposes my Moon it's making a Grand Cross but i'd like to know how does that feel, is it like a 'glue'? And who feels it more? I don't think i had this with anyone important for me yet. I find a bit boring when planets are making a lot of conjunctions in synastry. I've never been interested in someone with a lot of Aqua in their chart for more than 3 weeks, and my DSC is Aqua(i have 3 planets there if i remember). --- What about Moon opp Venus guys, is it always bad? Sometimes the rulers of 7th and 5th, sometimes also of 8th house indicate if we are comfortable and attracted to or bored/ repulsed with certain aspects. Some people find conjunctions unattractive, boring and at best like a pair of comfortable old shoes. for me it never has been that way, I LOVE (and need) conjunctions in synastry to personal planets and angles. But the ruler of my DESC conjuncts my Sun exactly in 1st house, the ruler of my 5th house is in 1st house, too, the ruler of my 8th house is in 2nd house - all relationshp rulers for me lead back into the "Me"-quadrant, so that might be the reason why I eprsonally am drawn to a "mirror". ^ I always take a look to the rulers of the houses you mentioned. Thanks for explaining. I can see why our preferences are so different IP: Logged |

I have no. 2 though a bit wide in my synastry and I agree that it's a nice aspect! And no. 1 in a conjunction, not a square. I had the square (I think) in my relationship with my ex, but I REALLY prefer the conjunction. Moon conj. Mars is really good to me, I don't know why you exclude it lol! So I guess that's all I can help right now, since I haven't so much experience with all types of synastries!

Brilliant. Yes, Venus, ruler of my 7th house, is peregrine in my chart and I seem drawn to synastry where my Venus is minimally aspected; it's often contributing to an important aspect pattern in the composite but in synastry just a few aspects seem to do it for me (presently a Sun-Venus opposition is what I'm working with). Ruler of my 5th though... Neptune... is conjunct my Moon by 0'02 degrees and so conjunctions definitely play a role in my preferred relationships. The boundarylessness is obviously paramount to me with this aspect...

What about Moon/Venus square instead of opposition? Would it still be nice or too complicated to have in a synastry chart?IP: Logged |
