Moon opp causes the moon person to be hypersensitive and reactive to the Pluto person. Every little thing they say and every nuance affects the moon person. The moon person wants to know where the Pluto is all the time and is afraid of losing the Pluto, but the Pluto generally feels the same thing but can actually enjoy that effect on the moon to the point that they may hurt them on purpose because it makes them "feel the love" so to speak. The moon craves to please the Pluto and Pluto knows itand can kind of exploit it for lack of a better word . That's my best take on it.

I think it's both ways in the composite. I don't know. Wait, I think the moon is the female in the composite chart. At ANY rate, the interp I read said the female in the relationship moon/pluto is the one who so wants to please the pluto and is so sensitive to him so I think that's how it has to be.

Is it still really felt between the two even if it's composite?

The composite is the energy of the relationship itself. So both of you feel like you are in a very passionate, emotional relationship

When the composite Moon is opposite composite Pluto-

You are intensely involved with each other, and the attachment runs deep. However, possessiveness based on fear of losing one another can be a big issue in this partnership, perhaps more dramatically expressed on the part of the female. You will need to take extra care not to attempt to control each other by needing to know everything about each other at all times. Fears that one of you is keeping a secret that threatens the partnership may be a self-fulfilling prophecy if it is left to undermine the trust in your relationship. It can be easy for one or both of you to slip into this mode of fear, as your attachment to each other is intense. There is nothing wrong with needing each other, but if that need leads to distorted expressions of attachment, such as manipulation or obsession, you will need to get a handle on it at an early stage before you drive a wedge between you. The intensely emotional nature of your attachment can be a beautiful thing, as you are capable of great intimacy, but this exclusiveness may create a fear of change, of rejection, or of loss which can seriously undermine your partnership over time, to the point of no return. When you argue, it can be very dramatic! Always remind yourselves that attempts to control each other, and the "need" to know where your partner stands on an emotional level at all times, are expressions of fear, not love. One or both of you may end up cracking under such pressures, and your parting could not only be inevitable, but it could get downright ugly. Your relationship was likely to have started with a bang. Perhaps one or both of you entered the partnership after experiencing some trauma, or your intense feelings for one another changed your lives. Perhaps your relationship uprooted you from your past in some way. Whatever the case may be, there is an attachment between you that feels unbalanced from the start, and both of you should work on keeping your feelings for each other aboveboard.

Moon-Pluto Aspects in Synastry-

In Astrology, the Moon represents our inner needs and emotions, while Pluto represents intensity, intimacy, obsession and possession. As such, Moon-Pluto aspects in synastry are intense!

When your Moon conjuncts, squares, or opposes your partner’s Pluto, you feel a magnetic sexual and emotional attraction to each other. Your partner tends to bring out subconscious emotional responses from you; the Pluto person can see into your soul, and knows how to bring out your most intense, secret emotions. Indeed, the Moon feels “exposed” and vulnerable in the presence of the Pluto person. Together, you explore each others emotional depths. Because of this strong emotional connection, the Moon person is likely to feel obsessed with the Pluto person; the Moon person easily becomes addicted to the emotional intensity the relationship. As such, the Moon person is eager the please the Pluto person. As is the case with all Pluto aspects, the Pluto person usually has the “upper hand” in the relationship.

On the downside, the Moon person is likely to feel “controlled” or manipulated by the Pluto person. The fear of losing each other is strong with this placement. In order to keep each other focused on the relationship, power struggles and manipulative tactics often surface. Indeed, Pluto desires complete control and domination over the Moon person’s emotions, and any indication that the Moon person is losing interest or distancing herself leads Pluto to adopt manipulative or controlling behavior to keep the Moon person to himself. Pluto may “play games” with the Moon person, which can lead to strong emotional arguments and heated battles. The Pluto person easily offends or hurts the Moon person, due to the fact that the Moon person is so entrenched and hypnotized by the Pluto and the way he is able to bring out such strong emotions in her. In fact, the Pluto person may consciously or unconsciously desire to hurt the Moon person. This is because Pluto wants to emotionally control the Moon person, and almost gets a sense of satisfaction when he knows how much he affects the Moon person.

In synastry I was pluto but we had it in the composite chart as well. He seemed more like pluto and me as moon, defiantly both of us seemed to display emotional reactions to each other. It broke because he didn't want anything serious or to take me seriously. The way I saw it was he played alot of games and manipulative.

What else was in your chart? Mine does play games, always has but there is love and fear of losing me at the base of it. This aspect manifests in some strange anti thetical ways in my experience.
