Since I am a Newflake, forgive me if I am like a 5-yr old in a candy shop. I am new to synastry. Do you see any DWs and HDWs in these charts? Thank you! IP: Logged |

According to what I found, a DW would definitely be the most powerful if the midpoint of both (involved) natal planets in one chart is conjunct or opposite the midpoint of both natal planets in the other chart. And that would be mainly the case if it's the SAME aspect. Although not always.Example; His Venus square her Mars. His Mars square her Venus. His; - Venus 15 Aries. - Mars 22 Scorpio Her; - Mars 15 Cancer - Venus 22 Aqua QUESTIONS; Are both natal Venus/Mars midpoints conjunct/opposite? Yes/No? If NO, what square-signs do you need to make both natal midpoints conjunct/opposite? So, what's the chance of them becoming equal lines? Succes! Btw, I prefer quality over quantity IP: Logged |

Just recently (a few months at most) I've been speaking with this woman. I felt drawn to her but I hesitate when making friends. She kept chasing after the friendship and so I gave in and we now talk a bit. I'm still resistant so we talk less than we probably would and she's so "Talk to me!" LOL I find her to be incredibly sweet, smart, caring, etc etc. I love her personality, she's just beautiful. Anywayyy, I looked at our synastry and..I would have to say it's crazy! Her ASC/DSC is conjunct my Vertex/Anti-Vertex 0° My ASC/DSC is conjunct her Vertex/Anti-Vertex 0° Her MC/IC is conjunct my IC/MC 1° Our Nodes are square each other 0° Like...what? I'll post the chart with everything erased so you can see it easier. Have you ever seen something like that?

And the moon falls in Scorpio in the composite chart. I win, I want my candy lmao. My example aside, I'm really curious to hear any other crazy synastry you guys have seen in ONE particular chart because I'm curious as to how bad (or good, depending on your viewpoint) it gets...

@KoreAbyss the angle conjunctions along with the Vertex/AC DW!!! I'm curious to see the rest of the synastry. You should start your own thread in IA.ETA: most people will assume diamondbaby has dug up an ancient thread and will ignore it otherwise. IP: Logged |

People that demand a lot from me are usually disappointed. It may be because my Venus (DSC ruler) is OOB or Aquarius stuff. I'm just too far out and weird to understand normal connecting. It all feels fake and I fear being inauthentic to please another. That seems pointless to me and disrespectful. She seems incredibly authentic, easy to connect, very understanding of people. I do not understand people and people do not understand me. It's mostly better to just stay away. But she keeps insisting so I will do my best since I'm starting to settle into the friendship. Were you trying to figure out how this works astrologically? The vertex connections, etc? It actually does make sense, the description of Vertex/ASC where at first you don't really like the person, you resist them and then realize that you actually do like them. That's definitely how this all started and how it feels now. quote: I use the Vertex in all of my astrological work. In synastry, it is often prominent in significant relationships: one person's personal planet or ASC conjuncts or opposes the other person's Vertex, generally conjuncts. I use a rather tight orb of 2 degrees. These interaspects are not present in all significant relationships, but when they are present in romantic connections, there is a rather common theme in place: the individuals meet and do not fall in love right away. In fact, there can be some feeling of reluctance, and, unlike South Node connections in synastry, they don't feel an instant sense of recognition. When they do fall in love, it is much like an "epiphany"(1)—sort of on the lines of "Wow, I really do like you—I didn't expect this!" The feelings come "out of the blue" and in a rush of feeling.

Sounds to me like you're already getting some candy. I think it makes for a significant connection. Although at times it can be too much of a good thing if you know what I mean. Lol! I was blown away when I compared charts with my SO...it gets your blood pumpin for sure. We have many dw's, not as close in aspect as yours, but I think its still representative of a prominent relationship. It's so exciting to discover these things when reviewing our synastry with those who are a part of our lives. I agree with Mir that it would be a good exercise to look at the double whammys and midpoints. I'm excited for you and hope this relationship brings much happiness and fulfillment! Very nice!
