hi athenaia

this composite has some very strong affectionate aspects and it shows that there are personal ambitions which may interfere with consolidating this intimacy.

the venus/sun midpoint is square to the node showing an intense affection for each other.
Jupiter is square the node and opposed to the sun/ venus midpoint which often gives feeling of commitment and support.

the eros/psyche midpoint is conjunct the sun so the idealistic, romantic feeling are very strong. this gives a almost childlike sense of attraction, attraction to spirit as well as the physical attraction of the venus/sun midpoint.and with the mercury/psyche conjunction, there is a very romantic demeanor between you.

the Venus/mars midpoint is conjunct your desc so you are particularly smitten with him

ith the Saturn/moon midpoint conjunct heIC,the affection is accompanied by a strong sense of devotion.
composite juno is on his ascendant which indicates he gives signals of wanting a serious hookup.

the Jupiter/juno midpoint is conjunct to pluto which shows there are a common professional or education ambitions. it may be you met in the workplace or in an educational setting.

as this pattern usually shows ambition in ones vocation, the relationship may be secondary to these pursuits. any commitment may hinge on personal achievement first. this notion is also shown by the Jupiter/pluto midpoint being opposed to the venus/mars midpoint.

but currently you are both head over heels inlove as the south node transited the eos/psyche midpoint onmarch 6th and the south node had been transiting the composite sun and erso/psyche midpoint through april 9th.
as time goes forward the north node will transit the composite Jupiter on june 20th and square the sun/venus midpoint on july 3. so the initial "enchantment"may lessen a bit but the attraction and feelings of commitment and love should grow stronger .
from july 8th to the 18th the transiting node will conjuct ceres and square the composite nodal axis. if all goes well this could show a concrete commitment .

still you must keep in mind that the Saturn/pluto square can indicate some unconscious hesitation and emotional reluctance. with the strong pluto/Jupiter patterns, serious commitment may have to wait until certain personal professional or educational goals are met.

Not to derail at all, hope you don't mind me asking a very quick question athenaia. Todd, what might eventuate if the transiting node conjuncts a composite moon?

hi EmGem

when one has the node conjunct the composite moon, then the relationship is in a very sensitive time. There maybe a synchronization of emotional feelings. but one must look to the aspects to the moon to get specific characteristic say Saturn was square the moon, I could be a breakup or at least emotional problems between them. if venus was square the node then it would bea period of love and togetherness. so you see specifics with this combination dependent on the aspects.

Thanks Todd

Would all aspects count to the moon or just hard?
We have moon square sun/Mercury, sextile Jupiter, saturn, Pluto, trine Neptune, conj Lilith.
We'll have Venus squaring the node at 11 Gemini before all that.
Is it like the node is 'waking' up and emphasising that part of the chart?

any aspect to the node is significant.

the mercury/sun square indicates a very open mental framework. this shows you both reveal for inner thoughts. coupled with lilth conjunct o the node these thoughts have to do with you innate attraction and feelings for each other.
Jupiter/pluto/Saturn sextile with Neptune trine is an excellent pattern as it shows a sincere healing and supportive vibration between you. this aspect is very therapeutic and could one or both are involved in a healing profession or counseling profession, though it could also be a financial indicator. this pattern is excellent for practical and economic situations around the relationship. this pattern indicates you are best of friends and with the venussquare you mentioned ,it probably is a romantic relationship also.

below is a brief explanation of the nodes place among the planets and other symbols
http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=63539
........This is the best analogy to use when trying to understand the dragonhead/nodal axis.
The node fixates all the other astrological symbols. One can conceptualize the planets as the hands of the celestial clock, with the various cycles of time correlating to our experiences .but the node is the mainspring of the celestial clock and it’s motion underlies all the other movements.
These words seem like just more obscure references to the node. So one must look at their own chart to see the depth and clarity of these words.
But first a word of caution. Not only does the node rule or fixate reality, but the nodes are the source of magic both black and white, positive and negative. If one chooses to disbelieve the existence of black magic, then you will put your life in grave danger to try to understand the dragonhead......

Todd what you have picked up on is amazing. Every time he and I see one another we talk about our innate attraction as you say, so it will be interesting to see what happens when the node hits the moon. It's been a very deep connection however we also have Venus opposite Uranus and that has placed some obstacles of timing on our path. We long to be together but there are still things that need to happen first for us both. It's a slow burner this one.

I am the healer I work as a dance therapist. Having said that our connection is incredibly healing, we also have Venus conjunct Chiron and moon square Chiron - forgot to mention that, as well as moon trine Vesta.
So it would be interesting to see if that nodal conjunction to the moon might bring about some spark to set things into motion for us.

Thank you for the link, I can see how hugely important the nodes are and how they affect everything else! Great explanation.

Our composite SN is on the Venus Jupiter midpoint. Do you know what that means? We are both well aware that we have shared many lives together.
I really appreciate your insight Todd

Athenaia, jump in and take your place in this thread whenever you want! At least I'm bumping it for you lol

the south node Jupiter/venus midpoint shows a very supportive nad joyous relationship. this shows you enjoy each other company as well as socializing. this is somewhat of a marriage vibration as Jupiter rule marriage and venus rules love.it is also a very good aspect for financial matters again.

chiron square to the moon and venus can be problematic though as is Uranus opposed to venus. as you said this is a slow burner, chiron shows there is something unusual or "quirky" about the relationship. it can show emotional responses that reflect hidden emotional issue or concerns about another person who still affect him or you. Venus opposed Uranus, is frankly not good for a continuing romantic relationship as this almost always shows an intensity that cannot be sustained amid the compromises necessary for a normal committed relationship.
but we'll see.

Chiron conjuncts Venus at 7 degrees so not sure if that's too wide? It squares the moon at 6 degrees.
Uranus opposite Venus, I see what you're saying however I know that this may also be indicative of a relationship where people may live apart and come together, maybe working in different places. I can see that happening with us. It also depends on the natals and of course our own free will! It all needs to be taken into consideration.

What's interesting about us is that we have the toughest superglue happening in synastry with Saturn and nodal conjunctions to the luminaries so not really sure where this leaves us - it would be an incredibly hard bond to break 😐
Thanks Todd

thank EmGem and athenaia for the detailed feedback to my interpretations .
your feed back is the only way that I can develop my craft as you give me a real understanding of the meaning of the words that I use to describe the symbols of your charts.

EmGem, I also channel healing energies but not as often as you do. pluto sextile to Neptune often gives healing power when combined with other planets. one of the storngst patters is pluto sextile Neptune with these planets forming sextile/trines to the nodal axis.

atheaia, usually any hard aspect to pluto and Jupiter in a composite shows that there is a personal ambition in the relatiohship, very often this personal ambition takes precedence over the emotional relationshio itself. in your composite juno/jupiter midpoint was conjunct to pluto so this can show both partners are involved with a mutual professional concern as you have mentioned, and therefore it is not potentially as destructive to a emotional relationship

but again thank you both for your detailed feedback, this is i interpret charts for.

Todd,

what is the dynamic of having the Composite Venus-Mars midpoint ( 4' Scorpio) conjunct Composite Jupiter & Uranus at 4' Scorpio and square Composite Moon & Saturn at 4' Leo and oppose Composite Amor & Karma at 4' Taurus?

also Composite Psyche-Eros midpoint conjuncts the natal Sun of one and Venus of the other and ASC/DSC of both.

well that is quite a bit of imagery to grok without a visual image....

I think the final outcome would be a off and on relationship if that. the asteroid placements add alectricity nd excitement but these are short lived when faced with reality. reality being the Saturn/ moon midpoint square to the uranu/Jupiter and ven/mar midpoints. the former are also very electric and enchanting but the Saturn/moon midpoint square shows a stress between the need for fidelity and he excitement and emotional freedom that the Uranus/Jupiter and mars/venus midpoints exhibit.
generally a relationships with high excitement and also somber need for devotion don't work out in the long term. plus the Jupiter/Uranus midpoint square to the Saturn/moon midpoint s more indicative of a breakup than a commitment.
like always ,the entire char need to be considered.

You're wlcome Todd. Happy to help provide feedback.
That Neptune/Pluto sextile is at 0 degrees. As is moon sextile Pluto! I didn't realise how rare the Neptune/Pluto sextile was though, so I've read, I guess because our age difference is 11 years.

Also when you suggested re Chiron showing hidden emotional responses or feelings about another person still affecting one of us. I had a think about it and his ex gf was murdered 3 years ago. That is still affecting him and I would say does tend to show itself between us. We have spoken openly about it which helps with the healing.

Do you place any significance on the Davison chart? I noticed his natal sun/moon mp conjuncts the Davison ASC and natal sun/Venus conjuncts Davison Juno. Among other connections but they stuck out pretty strongly.
