All my friends and I , ex boyfriends we all shared either mars conjunct mars or mars square mars in close aspect like less than 5 degrees. That is intense. I have it with my brother too. I have mars in 7th house natally.. I was starting to think everyone is driving me mad until i saw this pattern in the synastry. the 10 people in my life right now we all share this aspect. For the most part they all rub me the wrong way.. all the negative mars aspects in our interactions come out. Bluntness, rudeness, insensitivity, competition, stepping at each others toes, invasions etc. I was thinking am i going mad or is there something really wrong here?? Any experience with this aspect?

Had Mars square Mars with my ex husband. We were together for 10'years.

Too competitive. Like a ware zone. I never want to experience it again. It was exhausting.

Maybe the 9 degree is felt.. Mars/asc might be competitive as well.

Wow. That's interesting, I guess the squares to Pluto didn't exactly help the "cause".

Would this mars conjunction be felt?

22.41 Aquarius and 1.16 Pisces

That's a 8.35 orb and different signs..Falls in my 5th house and his 11th.

I had the square with my college boyfriend, less than 2° orb.

His Mars @ 14 Virgo, my Mars @ 16 Gemini.

Because my Mars is almost exactly quincunx my 15 Cap sun, this was quite a problem...I was attracted to him even when he was criticizing me...I was seeing the validity in his criticism.

Often, it didn't feel comfortable, but I learned a lot from him. Basically I considered it another kind of relationship...more like a "school of hard knocks" than a romance.

I wouldn't have gone for that except his Virgo Mars was so central to my chart, completing a mutual grand cross, in some ways his Mars was just hard for me to ignore. I would break up with him, see him around town looking hot as blazes, and it was like moth to flame.

Meanwhile my other ex had Mars @ 12 Libra, trine my Mars. Just another reason we were in sync.

In photographs even when we couldn't see each other we often had the same expression.

Mutual respect to such an extent that it was also problematic. Sometimes we hurt each other but wouldn't say it. It was typical for us to reveal to each other that something had bothered us...years after the fact.

Perhaps there wasn't a strong enough negative feedback loop there. Or perhaps negativity is overrated. LOL...I don't know.
