Anteros in synastry, what does it mean in aspect?What could the Anteros of a man conjunct a woman's sun mean? Would this mean that he feels his love unreturned from the woman or that he isn't likely to return her love, or something else?

Haven't heard of the asteroid. But, just looking it up briefly, it sounds like he is the God of requited love. Right?I'd say Your sun ( ego) conjunct his Anteros means he accepts your identity and who you are as a person. IP: Logged |

Anteros is like a mirror. He reflects back the feelings and behaviours shown him. For example my Anteros is exactly conjunct Mr Sag`s Valentine.
Actually it was only through him being so very attentive to me, that I started taking real notice of him. So in my experience Anteros gives back what is given to him, but then seems to do so in an intensified way. like a magnifying glass for the others planets. Not sure how that would be in terms of the Sun, as the sun just IS, and does not really do anything. I`d go with the interpretation of the previous poster here. IP: Logged |

Maybe, not sure Ceri. I am the North Node and I am still figuring this one out. I have some ideas but I don't think its the Anteros-NN interaction on its own.IP: Logged |

I think I'm going to do a bit of research here because Anteros just confuses me yet.. the mirror thing.. I nearly get it but don't. Yours is a good example, if Anteros reflects back what is given to him, when conjunct the sun of another it might only give attention when noticed himself? When conjunct a love asteroid, when love is shown it is reciprocated, if it conjuncts the Moon, it responds emotionally to emotion shown, etc... IP: Logged |

I don't think I explained what I meant very well, but hopefully you get the gist. He responds to the nature of the planet or asteroid when it is expressed.I asked the tarot cards what Anteros does when he conjuncts in synastry and got: Justice, Emperor, World. I did another reading which makes sense with the legend of the God. The cards say that the meaning of Anteros in synastry is: 9 cups, wheel, queen swords.This makes sense with the legend. This means that Anteros means strong fated love, but if the love is not returned Anteros becomes the avenger of unrequited love - of the myth. IP: Logged |

I did some more card readings to help untangle Anteros. I asked how the Anteros feels about the Sun person when conjunct their Sun and got the Hanged Man, Tower, and Prince of Wands.This is powerful and transformative, like being struck by lightning. The Sun person also gets the tower, followed by the 10 of cups, which is about the power of love. IP: Logged |

Well, I certainly wouldn`t base my interpretation only on the tarot readings, but they are intriguing nevertheless, so what I personally got, (but VP, can you do a pull, too?):
Anteros - Valentine:

Thank you . This is super and it seems accurate too.
I am the North Node and I can say I also feel it is fated. Can't turn away from my Anteros even if I wanted to. It also seems Ceri you pretty much got the same meaning as Velvet. this is cool
@Gabby Could Anteros returned love help heal Nessus wounds? Kind of taking a Chiron role but with assured kindness and love (no tough love)?
