Hey I tried this in Beginners Astrology but no reply so thought I'd try hereAre synastry aspects your personality traits being similar/blending with theirs in how you approach things etc. And can their be an invisible cosmic bond there that you don't notice or is it just the fact you get along?

Hi  it depends on the synastry aspects. All of them show a connection, like an invisible mesh between the two, but some contacts are challenges for the couple, and also, most importantly, we always look at the missing contacts, those areas of the chart(s) that are not touched by the other: these are the most challenging. The synastry aspects are the story of how two personalities blend and in what way: romantic, platonic, friends, enemies etc. and yes, there is an invisible soul connection between people who are destined to meet and interact, the more important the relationship, the stronger this invisible force we can very well describe with astrology.------------------

Thank you for replying I didn't even think about the missing contacts that's a great point. So you're saying its a bit of both e.g Mercury trine Mercury they are similar in how they communicate and there is also an invisible mesh? IP: Logged |

yes but it depends just because you have mercury trine mercury doesn't always mean communication is understood because person A could have saturn square mercury natally and person b's mercury may aspect person's a saturn as well but even if it is not close to aspect with person A's saturn that mercury is still harsh despite communication is easy flowing so we have to look at the natal and the aspects etc. ------------------

I agree with Angel, what matters most is to have similar and/or compatible communication needs (when it comes to Mercury) and aspects between them helping them channel in the right direction in synastry, in a way that suits both people. We don't look at an aspect individually, we look at the whole configuration of natals/synastry.------------------
