I have both Moon and Venus in Aquarius. I feel this sign very strongly so it's important for me that in synastry with men they somehow connect to these signs and planets. Leos adore me, opposite sign so it makes sense but the principle of good astrological compatibility is similarity. Oppositions are also good but I personally prefer conjunctions. Similarities between two people can also be found by house, natal chart makeup, not only aspects. But I would like to ask about conjunction aspect - Moon Mars specifically.

The guy I am interested in has only Mars in Aquarius. It conjuncts my Venus in Aquarius but this is a pretty much sexual aspect so I don't take it too seriously. His Mars also conjuncts my Moon. Apart from attraction, what else does this aspect do? The reason I would like to know this is because I've heard that although it's 1) conjunction and 2) it's in one sign, that doesn't make it a good thing. Is that true? Would Mars hurt the Moon person's emotions? In terms of getting how the Moon person feels, is this aspect good or bad? Does Mars person like Moon person? I understand that Mars is too harsh a planet to be connecting so closely to sensitive Moon planet but I feel like because they're in the same sign it should be a good thing, much better than having no aspect or being in different signs.

I literally just read a big thread on Mars conj Moon from a long time ago. Search for it on the search engine..it gives a lot of good info!

Basically what I took from it is that it's a HOT aspect in a relationship, especially if one or both of the people have Mars-Moon contacts in their natal. It is said to be a very sexually positive and intense interaction because of the mix of emotion and sex drive..plus it's a yin/yang combo (Moon being feminine and Mars being masculine ).

People also say it suggests fertility between two people..so be careful!

I think some people pointed out that the Mars person could be a little much for the Moon at times..like the Mars person being too "on", too often. I'm sure it depends on the signs and individuals.

I have Mars in Pisces conjunct my love interest's Moon in Pisces and I have had my eye on him since the first day I saw him. I want to pounce on him every day! He is attracted to me, too..it's been a very slow moving dance but we can't deny the sex appeal is there.

Google "moon conjunct mars in synastry" and you should find the old LL thread about it. Good stuff.

You're right. Found the thread I think you meant, thanks. Good stuff seems to outweigh the bad.

This is a bit wide. So it only counts a little. Because they're in the same sign a sense of similarity will still be there, but the forces of Mars' energy on the Moon will not be so strong.

I'm Mars in a Mars-Moon conjunction... he's Mars in a Mars-Moon trine between us.

Can verify that I'm perhaps too "on" too often Even if I'm dead tired... or asleep!... when he shows up at my house, it takes about 10 seconds for me to be on like a light... and it doesn't go out... it's nuts.

But yeah, the somatic sexual attraction is incredible, I've never been so emotionally/physically connected and in sync with anybody else...
