So then I looked at my kids again, and compared it to mine, and then my parents, sister, grandparents... it was not as obvious as my boyfriends, but it was there for sure.

His family repeats so many things, and interestingly, while I wasn't sure how to read our synastry initially, I fit these signs and degrees. It's fascinating!

Looking at theirs gave me a whole new way of looking at charts in general. I am now able to see more patterns with others, when I have enough of their relatives to compare. And it makes sense. Even my best friend, who believes very little in astrology, has said she always seems to find herself surrounded by Tauruses. (She's a Libra, and not knowing birth time, I am convinced she must have an axis point in Taurus somewhere!)

I noticed there is a ton of Scorpio in my family charts, with the exception of my mom. She's a pisces, and her 10th house is Scorpio, but nothing but asteroids. But her parents, my Dad, myself, my sister, my Dad's parents... all significant Scorpio.

With my boyfriend's family:

9 Virgo
my venus
his mars
his child #2 mars
his child #3 venus
his child #4 psyche

18-20 virgo
my mars
his mother's venus
his child #1 mars

he has sun conjunct venus, as do his child #1, #2

everyone in his family has something in mid Leo (12-24)
suns, moons, juno, and I have many midpoints in mid Leo, plus Mercury at 24

Valentine aspects
His valentine conjunct my moon, pop Jupiter;
My valentine sextile his Jupiter, square his sun, potentially opposite his moon
My valentine potentially trine his child #2 and #3 moons, but square child #2 sun
all of his 4 children's valentines either aspect my sun or my moon- only one is a square
His mother's valentine square my sun

And we have a lot of chiron aspects, but mostly beneficial. Chiron trines between me and most of his children.

He and I personally have a lot of chiron, both challenging and good.

This is a big relationship for the both of us, the first relationship where our children have been introduced to the other post divorce.

The chiron and valentine is very interesting to me because his family went through a fairly traumatic change, and its obvious there is healing to happen. I first looked at the synastry because I was worried how the introductions would even go.

I know there are many more patterns, but I just started to look into it, and my astrology knowledge is pretty rudimentary.
