I do think. It helps with seeing the best in the person (I'm Jupiter in a Venus Jupiter conjunction). Jupiter is the long rope. Venus loves Jupiter`s wisdom and optimism. There is a lot of generosity and good will which can help the couple overcome other more deleterious aspects. Many a time our relationship would have faltered without this one, I know for sure. It can denote over indulgence of course, but Jupiter usually knows what it's doing and I'm personally kind of a Jupiter influenced person in a lot of ways and tend to think magnanimity is the most painless route anyway. I would rather see the best and be forgiving... IP: Logged |

In synastry, I think this conjunction is absolutely wonderful--really can bring happiness. IP: Logged |

Now, it's not a very sexual connection, or a deeply emotional kind of connection, it's like a.....fun connection?? When I see past posts on this people use different words to describe it, warm, fun, dreamy, sweet, lovely, happy, etc. Pretty general terms. So I guess it's more affection and that cuddly sweetness, right? Either way, from what I've read on it on this forum, MOST people absolutely love this aspect. Most people have nothing but good things to say about it. I have a conjunction of this aspect (exact orb) with a girl I'm seeing, and it just makes me even more excited! IP: Logged |

Jupiter just makes everything feel good. The hard aspects just shows you tend to overdo it which isn't necessarily a bad thing if practical affairs are taken care of. You can never really go wrong with Jupiter. IP: Logged |

Well I definitely want to lavish everything on him but other factors in our synastry inhibit me. My Jupiter is also sextile his Moon but my Saturn is square it and his Saturn is on my ascendant. We have to look at the wholepicture. As a square in composite it could definitely indicate.mutual indulgence/spoiling could be a word used to describe it IP: Logged |

Well, I feel that somewhere I should be accountable for my previous posts, and at the very least acknowledge how very very problematic Jupiter actually can be.The forgiveness and benevolence that Jupiter brings are all well and good--but not in an abusive dynamic, where Jupiter can make us think things are alright when really they're terrible, and put up with mistreatment and abuse because of a promise of a beautiful dream. Jupiter aspects can be a lot like Neptune aspects in the rose-coloured glasses department, and of course, before Neptune was discovered and became co-ruler of Pisces, we had Jupiter. The relationship I'm referencing above, and all over this forum back in 2016, was *sooo* unhealthy and abusive, it's really cringey and embarrassing to read my past posts. Felt like I should say something here cause reading anybody say Jupiter can't ever be all that bad these days I'm like ahhhhh---no. Then I found myself writing it lol... nuuu. IP: Logged |

Welcome back Yungang! My own habit is usually scrolling down over my own past posts as quickly as possible to not end up in the realm you describe But it's an interesting new take on Jupiter. Last week I came across some posts of you putting (composite) conjunctions to the Part of Fortune on a pedestal and I thought, ow that's nice .. correct me if I'm wrong these days IP: Logged |
