How do these function in synastry? Or even the natal? It has hit me that many of my relationships (I've been called a "serial dater" and worse! ) had a synastry with a planet totally without aspect or one conjunction only. It can be either person. Maybe it's not uncommon. Looking at my synastry with these people though, I've noticed this strong theme. Very often personal planets. IP: Logged |

I am curious. How did you experience this planet in synastry? Was it "not there"? Meaning if your Venus was not aspected, did you not feel "in love" with the other person for example? And also when answering could you check if this planet was on the midpoint (orb: 1 degree) of two other planets in the other`s natal, prefereably at least one of the midpoint-pairing planets a personal one)?

Ok. I found a good one. My Venus unaspected - nothing. However, it sat on some natal midpoints. (Theirs) Their birth time unknown. Mercury - Uranus mp exact Venus - Uranus mp 3* Moon - NN mp exact Pluto - NN mp 3* This was a deep and long lasting love. The relationship failed but the love wouldn't. Perhaps more on their end but I had a soft spot in my heart for years after. I'll look at some others and think about it.

That is interesting about you having had still a soft spot. To be honest I would only count their Mercury-Uranus-mp on your Venus. (Moon is unknown and 3 degrees are too wide imo). were there other midpoints exactly square your Venus? BTW can you relate to the interpretation of Venus=Mercury/Uranus?
Were you enarmoured with their maybe unorthodox way to communicate or some flashlike mental and communicative skills? were their Mercury aspecting their Uranus in some way, even if a minor aspect? Were either their Mercury or their Uranus having a minor aspect to your Venus, or preferably both?

Interesting!!! I appreciate you digging into this with me. I feel like I'm learning. I haven't read interpretation yet but here's a few interesting things. Their (Gemini) mercury rx trine my Uranus. Their Uranus rx sextile my mercury (Virgo) No mercury/mercury contact if you were curious. Her Venus-Chiron mp square my Venus exact. We had fun. Everything was built on fun and laughter. Everything!!! I think I was just a weirdo. (Still am!!) Then and now, you never know what the next strange thing that I'll say is. Even during serious discussion I'll at least find some ridiculous analogy. She was a little more conventional in that sense and seemed to just enjoy the oddness. She was a hyper and chatty girl though. Talked a LOT. She was very social, a lot more than me. Laughter surrounded everything though. This is all starting to make sense now. IP: Logged |

"I feel like I'm learning." It`s me, who`s learning, too! "Their (Gemini) mercury rx trine my Uranus. Their Uranus rx sextile my mercury (Virgo) " So a Mercury-Uranus-DW. And boy doesn`t THAT make sense with the Venus falling onto Mercury/Uranus-mp? It looks like a theme.
BTW do you have a square in the composite? "We had fun. Everything was built on fun and laughter. Everything!!! I think I was just a weirdo. (Still am!!) Then and now, you never know what the next strange thing that I'll say is. Even during serious discussion I'll at least find some ridiculous analogy. Laughter surrounded everything though. This is all starting to make sense now." Yes that WHOLE description oozes so much Venus-Mercury-Uranus. I am also curious, because conventionally Mr Sag`s Venus could be considered unaspected in our synastry. It does however have exact semisquares to my Jupiter, Neptune and NN, with Jupiter squaring my Neptune-NN-conjunction. Additonally it falls onto my Moon/Venus-mp (my Moon-Venus are novile natally).
Anyway why I always found that rather intriguing was that I`ve always felt, from the first time we met, a lot of appreciation, and was oddly / weirdly reminded of being a woman. I can`t even put my finger on why this is, it`s maybe just in the way he looks at me or his voice sounds I donīt know (and I`ve definitely avoided considering myself in that light for many years, so it was pretty startling to me to meet someone who apparently did NOT relate to me on the level I usually relate to people, intellectually more than physically or even emotionally, at least I try to tell myself that. Boy, I learned quite a bit about me and how wrong some of my self-perceptions and concepts are). The thing is unaspected or not, there is a definite Venusian vibe there in our interaction however we would really define it. In the composite Moon and Venus are widely conjunct btw. and composite Moon falls onto his n Venus (and composite Mars squares it, and I am not even going to think about what that could mean for him. lol) IP: Logged |

Ha! Yes you are correct. Uranus square Mercury and Venus in composite. Her Venus was conjunct my moon and other nice things. I have Uranus conjunct NN, Aqua 5th, and other Uranian connections. Aqua Draconic Stellium, etc. Which funny enough, there's Venus/Uranus DW in my current synastry. The relationship is similar in nature in many ways I'd say, but with a little more banging heads. That relationship though, it was my second serious relationship, I was young, but to this day it's among the best relationships that I've had. A word on Sag men. My father was one, I am good friends with one at work, plus just knowing others. It's generalizing but I can see how a Sag man would really make a woman feel, womanly. Sag men to me tend to be very masculine, if not physically at least in their personalities. IP: Logged |

Ohhh Uranus to Mercury and Venus - sounds exciting!!! At least itīs not going to be boring. And any Uranian can handle that easily. As for Sag men, well my brother his a Sag-Moon (conjunct Jupiter and Uranus. lol).
But anyway Iīve had met my fair share of Sagittarius men (for some reason I just seem to be on their "radar"), but I noticed it`s really a "split". Howevery what they ALL had was some kind of teacher-vibe. Always feeling the need to explain something, be it an electronic toy or an electronic toy, really. lol And quite a few of them (even though we were never together) seemed to be either oddly protective of me or trying to, I don`t know, make me admit defeat? At least I know 2 or 3 who really tried to overpower me or manipulate me or outsmart me. Actually Sag-men and me has a bit of an "Annie Get your gun" vibe. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJvPjelxxj0
Well, if there is underlying sympathy, it`s just great. If not, well, then it gets less nice.
