I read that having this aspect in synastry with someone is good for intellectual communication is that true?

It can be good most defently but we have to see how the persons Mercury is ASPECTED in there natal chart also Uranus person as well. But in general this aspect is sweet and nice for instance if Mercury wanted time alone Uranus would UNDERSTAND, I think this aspect can also make two people engage in strange conversations I feel the communication would give such a soothing electric feel  ------------------

It can definitely boost communication between two people, but isn't saying much unless the aspect is 1 degree or less in orb. Sextiles aren't that strong on theor own so it would need a booster from other aspects or a really tight orb to have any real significance in my opinion.IP: Logged |

The orb is 2°54 sextiles aren't really strong on their own? I can feel the Mercury sextile Saturn in our synastry but the orb is also 2°51 so maybe that's why.

He has Mercury conjunct Uranus, Mercury square Saturn, Mercury semi square Neptune. I have Uranus in the 4th house. My Sun trines my Uranus and Uranus trines AC and I have Venus square Uranus.
