My clients, frequently, ask me “how hot?” I have answers, of course. Astrology tells us everything, if we are brave enough to look.If not, feel free to stop reading NOW ( like one of those meditation CDs that tell you to stop heavy machinery NOW) The Number One hottest aspect in synastry has to be Nessus conjunct a personal point. Nessus is the asteroid of abuse. There is something about an abusive relationship that DRAWS us, before it gets into actual abuse, at which time, we are repelled. When we are repelled, it is with the force of a cannonball. All heck may break loose, and, usually, does. Go into the Witness Protection Program until he becomes obsessed with someone else. I have experienced Nessus conjunct my Sun, exact. That relationship nearly gave me a coronary, but I have observed Nessus conjunct Venus and that is at the same level. Nessus has to be a very close conjunction, not more than two degrees. I have not experienced anything, except the Sun, but when clients come to me climbing the walls with other Nessus aspects, such as Nessus conjunct the MC, Mars, or the Ascendant, for some examples, I tell them to relax. It is just Nessus. ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Ami Anne,What other asteroids do you normally use for synastry readings? I know on another thread you mentioned that you look to Chiron for pain in relationship. What other things do you recommend to check? Karma, for example, what does it show? Or Ceres..I have these 2 prominent in one synastry, no other asteroids figure strongly. IP: Logged |

Which is the one who feels the pull? Or if both, is it equal? Or one feels it more so? IP: Logged |

IMO, Nessus is the one that 'wants', at least initially ("I must have you"). But it's not necessarily one-sided. The planet person also feels helplessly attracted. They're under the grip of Nessus, so to speak. Nessus kinda acts like a distant relative of Pluto. Only he's less about the power games and more about desiring and getting something no matter what. Pluto will pretend to not like you, not be affected by you, while his heart is burning for you. He'll keep a poker face until he has you..then you hear all about it. Nessus makes no secret of the fact that he wants you, period. At least that's what the theme seems like to me. Experiences may differ. IP: Logged |

I have over 300, C lol
I don't know where to begin to narrow them down cuz each one is important. I can show you my list, if you want. Even little, bitty ones can be important.

GREAT question, Dop.
They feel it differently, but maybe the SAME intensity Nessus wants to control, as does Pluto, that kind of thing. The planet person feels more like the rat in the trap lol

Lol 300! Well, it's interesting of course. Yes, I would like to see your list but I'm afraid I won't know what they all mean. Is there..like a brief description, a theme for each asteroid in your list? IP: Logged |

So, are other aspects not felt? I see Nessus square Moon and Moon inconjunct Nessus in our synastry chart. IP: Logged |

I just discovered my Nessus in Virgo conjuncts his Sun in Virgo AND his Venus in Virgo... We aren't together but this must explain why I can't resist him??? Even though we have no Pluto aspects??? And can't forget to mention that my Mars (22°) and Venus in Leo conjuncts his Ascendant in Leo (22°) and his Moon in Gemini conjuncts my Ascendant in Gemini. Also my Juno in Virgo conjuncts his Sun and Mars in Virgo.....IP: Logged |

They ARE, if they are very close--exact to 1-2.
It gets too confusing to include all aspects, so I write about conjunctions cuz they are the most powerful, but others are important and felt, too

His Saturn is in my 7th house, Moon in my 12th house and his Sun and Mars are in my 5th house. It's really hard for me to just simply forget about him right now. IP: Logged |

I have Nessus conjunct my ex's Venus in Virgo within 3 degrees. I can safely say that i was the one who suffered from his emotional manipulation and his ways of controlling me through silence and withdrawal. I don't think this could be contributed to Nessus though - he is just a devolved Scorpio IP: Logged |

My ex's Nessus is in a tight (0) conjunction with my 7h Cancer Venus and HE was the controller through silence and withdrawal. He would give me the silent treatment. The theme that grew in our relationship was me being mad at him for lying and betraying me, and him being really really mad at me for being mad at him for lying and betraying me, and him punishing me over and over emotionally as painfully as possible for not sweeping his behavior under the rug. The sex was hot, but, ugh, hot sex is not worth being treated like that. But I guess maybe the sexual component is what draws people in to Nessus relationships. To be fair, in the early months the relationship felt wonderful, I thought I had found something really nice with someone good and kind--but maybe it felt nice because of the cloud of hormones from not being able to keep our hands off each other.

In terms of who feels it--he (Nessus ) was the initiator and pursuer, but I (Venus) became very attracted after we spent a few hours alone together. It was weird because (as an 8h Leo Sun, Cancer stellium woman), I like to be the secret pursuer---I'll have an obsessive attraction to someone and keep it hidden and "chase him until he catches me," making him think it's his idea, but I've almost never said yes to someone unless it was my idea first, and I'd spent some time building up an attraction before he made the move.Whereas with this ex, I had noticed him (specifically, I was drinking my morning coffee and I looked over at him and had a sudden flash/fantasy of peeling off his t-shirt and throwing him against the wall and making out with him), but I didn't have an ongoing crush and I wasn't hoping he would ask me out....but when he did, I said yes right away. And the early relationship was emotionally innocent with no game-playing. IP: Logged |
