Many people have a "one and only" love. If one waxes poetic over a glass of wine with old friends, one will talk about this love. Not everyone has this, but many people do.

What would the chart show? I think one would need to look to Pluto, first . Pluto sweeps us off our feet. He leaves us breathless, weak in the knees. There is nothing like Pluto. If you have experienced it, you know what I mean.

Moon/Pluto is the quintessential love aspect. It is the love of which classic romance novels are made. It is not vanilla love. It is not dark love. It is the love of the roaring oceans. It is the love for which one would give up all, simply, to be next to the beloved. It is the love in which one whispers the name of the beloved as one dies. There is nothing like Moon/Pluto. It holds the position of fated love, passionate love and pure love, all at once. I have seen people go a lifetime holding this love close to their bosoms.

Second to Moon/Pluto would be Venus/Pluto. Venus is pure love, not sexual love, simply love. Pluto is primal passions. When pure love meets primal passions, we have once in a lifetime love. Moon/Pluto is more intense but this is second.

One wonders what makes for this kind of ardor in which the lovers would die for each other. Is it the yearning for home, in the manner of ET pointing his finger toward Heaven.

Does our beloved represent home and our search for the place where we can stop this harried running?

I suspect that it includes all this. If not, why does it seem like we will die if the beloved does not love us, too?

Interesting. What about a DW?

Say, for instance, a couple that has:

His Moon (Aquarius) Square her Pluto (Scorpio) = Exact.

Her Moon (Gemini) Trine His Pluto (Libra) = 6 degrees. A bit wide, I know.

Also, they have Her Venus (Gemini) Trine His Pluto (Libra) = -1 degree. Along with other Pluto aspects, including His Pluto on Her Aquarian North Node (Trine, 1 degree), Her Leo South Node (Sextile, -1 degree), and Her Libra Vertex (Conjunct, 1 degree).

Thanks for answering!

So I have my moon trine his pluto (less than 1degree), and my pluto sextile his moon (2degrees).

I know we will both feel the effects, and we do. But, how does each side play out? If this is primal emotional passion, is it mutually felt? Does one side feel more?

My feelings were intense for him. I can't say we ever had anything stable, but when we split it was more devastating to me than the dissolution of my marriage. Perhaps I was projecting, but I thought about him constantly and still cannot quit him. He is the same. He doesn't want to have a relationship with anyone, but he can't stop coming back to me.

I have experienced this feeling that "I would die if they don't love me or if they leave me" twice.

Both of them are Scorpio ascendants with pluto in their 12th or 1st house. The way I would communicate with them was as if we were reading each other's minds. we didn't really need words. Just being next to each other would make this world heaven for us.

one was this girl who pursued me for a couple of months and after we got together, it was very painful (our composite has sun square chiron) and intense (moon square pluto).
I had to leave because things were getting really messy. After that I went into a deep depression where I felt I was going to die having to be away from her forever. I finally got over her but it was TOO hard and painful.
In synastry she has venus sextile my pluto (and wider hers). I have moon trine my pluto and hers.

The other was this guy who I refer to as my soul mate. We were going to get married but a triangle happened as usual (thanks to my moon square lilith), and he got hurt and left. It took 3 years of depression full of rebounce relationships for me to get over him.
In composite we have chiron opposite saturn and chiron square moon.
In natal, I have sun opposite pluto, and this guy has venus opposite pluto.
In synastry, my pluto is inconjunct his moon, and my moon inconjunct his pluto. my venus trine his pluto.

I wouldn't want to get into such relationships again though, as passionate as they might be, because there is usually a price to pay (those hard chiron aspects in synastry or the composite) which can make the relationship too painful or intense to handle, in the real life circumstances. Maybe they are better as memories we can tell our grandchildren about!

Imo, those Pluto aspects listed only create that "one and only" thing for those who are already Plutonian in their chart.

Those who are Neptunian or Jupiterian or Saturnian or Uranian will not find that those Plutonian aspects create the one and only factor for them.

The dominant energy in a chart is the one I look at to determine that hooks a person forever.

Belage,

Following your logic I should be into Saturn heavy synastry because I'm Saturnian - Saturn squares in my natal chart (Saturn square Moon, Venus and Mars), also I'm a Capricorn by Sun. But it's the opposite for me. I can't stand prominent Saturn synastries. I know they're binding. By I don't enjoy and don't want a bond enacted by Saturn. I don't want to say you are wrong or that I am right, merely pointing out the facts, food for thought. My Moon, Venus and Mars are all in 5H so this too could be the reason why I can't stand Saturn (when relationship is too heavy and no fun then I don't want it).

Belage,

Actually, I think it depends on the aspects, are they soft or hard. Probably if they're hard then you wouldn't enjoy that planet aspects in synastry. For example, you have Moon square Pluto or Venus opposite Pluto..I don't think you'd like Pluto in synastry..just no.

But if you are Plutonian by let's say way of having Pluto in 7H, or Moon in Scorpio, then yes, you want Pluto in synastry.

Something like that

^^^ Yes CapriciousCapricorn, if the energies in the chart are challenged, for example with squares, then the person struggles with that particular energy, so you have to take that into consideration. Even then, I don't see Saturnian types having a one and only based on Pluto, unless Pluto is somewhat strong in the natal chart.

For Jupiterian Neptunian people like me, Plutonian aspects are not the most binding. I was once drawn to a very plutonian type of relationship with someone whose Pluto was conjunct my sun and venus and moon, and while the pull was very strong and the relationship was very intense, ultimately it turned out to be too dark for me and I ended it and have no regret. All this drama and intensity and control Pluto ratchets up does not suit my neptunian Jupiterian self.

There are a few other people whose Pluto conjunct my moon and we don't like each other. At all.

Both feel the aspect and equally, I would say, but each planet feels it DIFFERENTLY.

The Pluto wants to control the gentle Moon or Venus.

The Moon or Venus wants to be swept away by the primal, passionate Pluto

@girlwith the rainy soul

The most painful relationship I ever had taught me about Nessus.

The MOST painful relationship I ever had was really my mother.

If I had not had her, I would be shopping for shoes and not trying to help people reach the primal passions of their id

I wish I never had the pain I had but I think it made me able to be used to help others and it made me a deep person, too.

The square and opposition are different.

They are so intense that they could make the relationship unstable, so I do not include them cuz they are a different twist, A.

Oh, yes I understood that. I meant the feeling that someone is 'the one and only', in Venus Pluto is it the Venus who feels that? In Moon Pluto, is it the Moon who has that feeling? Like that
