I had this guy that i fell hard for, took me 7 years to stop longing for him. I literally thought I would die alone because I couldn't get over him.
I have since met a guy, we met 3 years ago...and he displays all the same feelings that i felt for this other guy but he's the one feeling it for me this time.
Fast forward 3 years, after little to almost no contact he
has only fallen deeper. Like he cant move on, what he is displaying and explaining to me is exactly how i felt. Its the same crippling fear and desperation that your never going to be able to love another that i felt.
I was wondering what could possibly cause this so i was looking for something to explain it.

The one thing that is exactly alike....
The guy I couldn't get over, his Asmodeus is on my NN by 2 degrees. The guy that cant get over me, my Asmodeus is on his NN by 0 degree.
Can Asmodeus trap the life path of the NN person?
I certainly felt like i would never move beyond loving the Asmodeus guy...like he stunted a major part my life because I couldn't love anyone else but yet he was not in my life. I felt whatever had happened was a cruel joke on me! He also felt alot for me but not enough to make us something real, i was more of his fantasy than a reality and according to him i still am. But thats not good enough! Fortunately I did finally get over it/him but it took forever and a lot, i mean A LOT of hard work.

Anyone else have any experience with this aspect? Did it play out as a connection that you cant get over because you feel completely hooked with no way to escape the feelings?

I seem to have Asmodeus conjunct with a few people - it is exactly conjunct my SN, which means these other people oppose my NN with their Asmodeus...wondering if it's significant.

How did you feel towards them? It seems to be the Node person that gets hooked the hardest.
SN, maybe they are bringing longing from a past life into this life, maybe there is karma to be worked out due to this longing?

Possibly... i do feel strongly and deeply about them, but not as if i can't live without them.
There's probably some karma to sort out, these people have definitely made such solid impressions on me.

Another weird thing i just realized is with the guy i was so attached to, I knew if I could have joined him and travel with him in his work(his life path) he would have loved that. He even said that over n over, he wanted me to go with him. But I couldn't, i had children to take care of, i had responsibilities.

The guy that my Asmodeus is on his NN, im telling him the same thing. I said i cant/wont do long distance if someone wants to be with me they have to come to me.

Its like Asmodeus conjunct NN wants to usurp the NN's lifepath....like, "You want me? Come and get me, but it has to be on my terms!"

Only interesting thing is the guy i fell so hard for, his NN made no soft aspects in my chart, only a square to my Neptune. He had no aspects to my NN.
The guy whos NN is on my Asmodeus, his Neptune is conjunct my NN and i have a lot of activity on his NN, like potentially our lives could come together.

Do you feel like they took you over emotionally? Like maybe the only way you can have them is if you emotionally give yourself completely over to them?

Hi Gabby, I wouldn't say so, at least not yet. I don't think they'd know what to do with my emotional self. But we have a very lustful connection overall so it remains to be seen if we ever consummate it and if so, whether this addiction will deepen or go away.

I guess this remains to be seen, but what i meant is the only way you could seriously have them was if you changed yourself emotionally to fit with what he wants or needs. Like with me, i would have had to adjust my life to fit with his and the guy that has his NN on my Asmodeus will have to adjust his life to fit mine. Its like Asmodeus comes in, wont change and says "come do it my way or you cant have me!"

For you it would be your emotions. Meaning, potentially you have to adjust your emotions to fit with his in order to have him, because he can't adjust or wont adjust for you. This is just hypothesis of course...
And i know...that remains to be seen in your situation, but please keep me updated!?

So my massively abusive step father has his Asmodeus conjunct my AC exact...he tried to take over who i was by forcing me believe lies and confusing my reality by playing twisted mind games n of course the physical abuse to back up the lies he told and get me to believe them out of fear, when i was just a little child. Hmmmmmm......

I wonder if this is a trait of Asmodeus, you long for them( maybe their acceptance, their love, their desire to be with you)and they expect you to become what they want in order to fully accept you. You in a way, lust after Asmodeus or lust after what the person represent to you and you must change(whatever Asmodeus conjuncts) in yourself to fit what they want in order to get them. Not sure how it would work with oppositions...

I know im rambeling, im just pondering this, sorry.

This asteroid is intriguing, indeed.
If it's opposite the NN it could be that they will push you towards your NN path, unconsciously for both parties, and possibly painfully so.

His NN conjunct my Asmodeus
His NN conjunct my SN

so it's also an Natal Asmodeus conjunct SN

I also felt as if I continuously make the conditions. Not even wanting to do it just because life makes things complicated.

Ya, i don't think it's meant to be hateful, like the Asmodeus person is trying to take over...its just the way it has to be because they cannot make changes to fit into your life, they need you to do it or you cant have them....and if you cant have them it feels like your heart is being crushed. I truly feel for the non-Asmodeus person!

Im not sure how that would work...if Asmodeus is pulling you away from your direction into theirs but he's sitting on your SN, then yes he will pull you away from your SN. But where hes pulling you....im not sure. If his charts has lots of aspects to your NN he just might ne pulling you on a good path.

The guy NN that my Asmodeus is on, my chart has a lot of aspects to his NN and his to mine. So I would not be pulling him completely out of his comfort zone or into a place thats not good for him.
The guy that had his Asmodeus on my NN, we had no planetary NN connections so his life path was not a good fit for who i was. That's probably why it was simply impossible for me to go his way. If I could have found a way to make our lives come together, trust me i would have i was sooo deeply into/he had some sort of crazy spell on me...i would have done anything to be with him except abandon my children.

Ive been going through synastries of my own and have it active but it was never felt AS deeply as when it was on the NN. I even found an ex who's Asmodeus was on my AC like my step-dad. N yes i was going to completely overhaul/re-arrange my life and who i was to be with him. But we had to much 12th house stuff going on and i got scared....plus i started having a bad feeling about it all. His Asmodeus was also on my Pluto, maybe that was just too much of a power struggle?

His Asmodeus is on my IC
My other children have Asmodeus conjunct each other leo@24-26 trine my Asmodeus.

Good solid aspects to keep us all together and going down each others path.

My Asmodeus conjuncts his MC 1°51

his Asmodeus conjuncts my Chiron 0°19

No nodal contacts though

In a way I get it though, with your hypothesis, I am constantly faced with my own vulnerabilities and also unprocessed issues from, well not childhood, but youth (Chiron in 4th), and while paranoia is never far (in my head repeating old experiences), the only way around it is actually through it. Making myself vulnerable and open (sounds masochistic I guess, it sometimes feels like it, but also interestingly feels like a good way eventually. Some sort of going through the fire and leave transformed kijndj of thing. lol Well Chiron is conjunct my PHoinix exact)

It`s like putting a veil in between reality and the version clouded over by my insecurities. It`s not easy to get through it, but sort of the only way.

Well his Pluto opposes my Chiron, and my Chiron falls onto the composite SN and his Pluto on the composite NN-Mars-Amor-Cupido-conjunction. He pulls me somewhere,b ut my Chiron is screaming murder. lol sort of.

That sounds like it would feel very painful Ceri, but your strong! If theres a lot of positive aspects to Asmodeus i do believe the place your being pulled could be very positive and healing but yes, def potentially scary to, especially with Pluto opposed Chiron. That sounds like a very tough placement. Screaming muder is a perfect description, lol!!

Yeah, I`ve been screaming, biting, kicking and what don`I know against it! lol

well my Chiron is actually exactly square my Eros-Vertex and Sun/moon-mp not really all that easy. lol

At the same time also making a Grand trine with my Cupido and his Neptune-Cupido-conjunction, with my DNA opposing my Chiron and his DNA conjunct his Neptune-Cupido, which I always found interesting.

BTW his Anteros is conjunct his Pluto as well, so he is part of it. lol

in composite my Chiron is trine composite Saturn exact
