So I was wondering what it would be like if a woman's mars (in scorpio, 8th house) was conjunct a man's north node (in scorpio) - synastry?
-it's a 0 degree orb and the man's pluto is also conjunct (in scorpio, with 2 degree orb)

I have this aspect in natal and I've had this aspect a few times in Synastry.

My Mars is the most aspected and THE worst aspected planet in my chart so my answer might be biased.

Anyway, from observation and experience, this aspects generates a lot of passion. Passion towards the other person and relationship in general with the North Node person usually on the receiving end. Mars conjunct North Node in natal, for me, shows the type of energy I'll be working with the most in this lifetime. My Mars is badly aspected so I will probably struggle with getting a grip on my Martian powers and how to use them properly instead of sabotaging my life with it. Same goes for Synastry in my opinion. Except you have one person bringing the passion and the other person is just the catalyst. Other factors will determine if it will be long lasting because this aspect on its on isn't much of a commitment aspect.

I have the DW with my favorite mentor. NN conj Mars in Pisces and NN conj Mars in Aqua, both under 4°

I agree with Yanmorg that this isn't much of a commitment aspect at all. It can be life altering (is, in our case) and teaches much if handled properly by two well intentioned people.

He has taught me to be much more diplomatic, and threw me into situations I never thought I'd succeed in because, somehow, he saw something in me and knew I would rise to the occasion. I did, and it very much changed me.

From the moment I met him I knew he's be one of the best in his field, even though at that moment in time he was low on the career totem pole and prospects weren't good. He was going to go to a different company but I dissuaded him from doing so, and told him to be patient. A year later, the impossible happened and he's not *thee person* everyone goes to on the employment hierarchy.

There is attraction, sure, but it's never been acted out on and we never will. I think Mars here is less about sexuality and more about.. "becoming", intention, motivation, processing, blueprinting.. things like that. Absolutely depends on the sign, houses, and how their Mars is aspected in their chart. Pisces and Aquarius aren't traditionally associated with raw sexuality in the way Scorpio is so I'm sure it would play out differently for you guys, especially when you throw Pluto into the mix.
