So I was reading about the meaning of draconic charts and understanding how or why two people may have been brought together.I understand a connection where someone's sun was on my moon- he was here to show me how to strengthen my emotional self. And he did. But what about his dVenus conjunct my dASC? Would he be here to teach me about loving myself? I think I find it confusing as to how to interpret a true soulmate/love connection aspect versus a "this is the lesson" aspect. IP: Logged |

We have an exact dVenus/dAsc conj too (me Venus) but I really wonder if that would be so significant... I mean, looking at the geometry underneath; The angle or distance between my natal Venus and Node is the same as the distance/angle between his natal Asc and Node. ^ It doesn't smell that significant, or? From how I see it, draco-draco same planet conjunctions/oppositions are the most significant of all. The geometry underneath is simply outstanding in that case. IP: Logged |

I think it's always easier to make sense of draconics in retrospect, or while you are in the relationship. From what I've seen, in many cases, the draconic chart tends to need time to actually "adhere" to the tropical. Then once a bond is forged, it resonates with the added richness and meaning of the draconic synastry. That's my working theory. If it's just draconic-to-draconic with nothing tropical to anchor it, then see if transits to that point do something. Transiting sun conjunct the Venus-ASC in draconic ought to do something, if anything can. I haven't really explored this...it's difficult for me since my draconic chart overlaps my tropical chart in so many places. And I need myself as the witness to say what it felt like. IP: Logged |

I had an extraordinary experience with that. Draco sun conjunct draco sun (not anchored in tropical) with draco Mercury conjunct draco Mercury, anchored by my tropical Mars.

Mir and Faith. I agree. Total random observation.
I realized for the first time that my Draconic Sun/Venus-mp is conjunct my tropical Chiron. and looking at the chartimage it *might* be that
Moon is on the Pallas/BML-mp with Draco moon being conjunct tropical DESC.
And
Draco Uranus might be on the tropical Moon/BML-mp
tChiron 20°02 Aries Dr Sun/Venus 20°52 Aries Dr mercury/Venus 20°25 'Aries tDESC 7°01 Gemini Dr Moon 6°56 Gemini Dr Pallas/BML 6°40 Gemini
Dr uranus 21°11 Aqua t Moon/BML 20°48 Aqua
whatever that means. lol

Well this is a comparison of someone I am currently involved with, and have been on and off for the last two years. The first example sun and moon was from my marriage. His dMoon conjuncted my dSun, and his emotional temperment definitely helped me develop my core nature. I softened and learned to become the person I wanted to be. The second example, his dVenus conjunct my dASC... well my chart just essentially flips. So it is conjunct my natal DSC, widely opposes his Mars (3 degrees). We don't have any same planet conjunctions in Draco, but at all the charts I looked at, we didn't either. The sweetest one is my best friend has her dSun conjunct my natal Venus. That's true! its funny, i checked and my soulmate's Dsun/moon mp is conjunct my Tsun/moon mp and venus. Which is opposite my Dsun/moon mp and Dvenus.Edit: oooo just noticed his Dsun/Venus/ceres conjuncts our composite sun. So does this mean his souls path is helping us as a couple or the other way around IP: Logged |

I'm not even close to ready to think about interpreting midpoints in Draco or Draco to Tropical.I just was looking at the draw synastries of the people I know, with myself, or with them in different combinations. I wanted to see why two people might be drawn together. I only saw the one dSun to nVenus connection so far. I understand that as true love. This was a platonic true love, but I feel it is accurate. I am curious I guess why the people in my life are actually in my life. I see a lot of relationships built on life lessons. Not really seeing much love. Like with my mom, Uranus opposite chiron is prominent in draco to draco. My dad, dVenus opposite dMercury, and his dNeptune conjunct my dIC. I see a couple of dNeptune opposite dChiron aspects. I am not sure how to read Draco to Tropical yet, at least not to read and then know the meaning. IP: Logged |
