Has anyone ever experienced this aspect in synastry? Some online interpretations involving the nodes are not that accurate in my opinion so it would be nice to see what people's experiences were or if they agree with the few interpretations of this aspect online. Here's one I found:"This aspect indicates compatibility, comfort and familiarity. You feel as though you are “meant to be.” Indeed, this is an indication that the two of you are Soul Mates. You feel very attracted and attached to one another, and the physical attraction is off the charts! You immediately feel a sense of recognition when the two of you meet. The Ascendant person freely gives to the Node person, but the Node person may restrict or limit the Ascendant person in the way they present themselves to the world." Did you as the node person restrict the ascendant person? Or were you restricted by the SN person? Inquiring minds want to know.

Maybe it's a rare soulmate aspect that most people don't experience. I haven't found any previous posts of people who've had it. Strange since according to a one interpretation it creates a very strong physical attraction- If there's truth in that.Since SN conjunct ascendant in a native's chart is said to sometimes weaken the native's body/immune system. I wonder if in synastry it makes the partner a little more likely to get colds too. IP: Logged |

The composite south node of my friend and I is conjunct my ascendant.... Transiting Venus just hit our composite south node/oluto, and my ascendant... Note that here I use the term friend, because I've decided I need to create space so that I can be myself. Yes. The relationship restricts my ability to be myself.. And opened me to the importance of considering the lived reality of the Other In a way I have never experienced. IP: Logged |

Met someone who's jupiter AND SN conjunct my ascendant. So maybe they'll restrict me by making me laugh all the time. IP: Logged |

If my soulmates birth time is correct, my sn conjuncts his asc. So much familiarity. I don't feel I restrict him at all, unless he hasn't told me so. His sn conjuncts my moon. He has sn parallels to his sun/Venus so he's used to that energy. If anything I feel like I energise his asc. Dunno....things are too premature for me to say so perhaps.IP: Logged |

I think this may just be the least explored aspect. When I look through forums it seems virtually no one talks about it. It's interesting that you say your moon is conjunct his SN... when I share that with someone and I'm the moon I often feel very drained after spending a lot of time with them. IP: Logged |

You can't isolate aspects, so the whole synastry needs to be taken into account. I don't feel drained at all by him but then again I don't live with him or anything. If anything no-one has ever had such an energising effect on me. It's a vey comforting warm oozy feeling with his SN on my moon.

Duh... I just remembered one of my longest friends and I have this, a double whammy! Her Virgo Asc, my South Node, and my Scorpio Asc, her South Node...Hard to describe the relationship, but I definitely notice the qualities that I want to improve upon in terms of my Virgo expressio... it is ironic I am saying this because I really try not to, but she criticizes and gossips and dwells on negativity a lot... complains, etc. And probably it bothers me because it reflects my past propensity to dwell on my fears... virgo is so very good at identifying problems! And for a long time I never saw a way out of my narrow focus... but that's my South node, and the expression has definitely gotten so much healthier... I learn by remaining compassionate and understanding, fluid and accepting (even of criticism, but I gently redirect her) and I feel very deeply comfortable being around her, and vice versa, and also find compassion and growth through her ability to relate... She does have a Piscean acceptance of her associates after all... And I think she and I enjoy a lot of simple Taurus like times and pleasures when I interact in that simple non dramatic way I can sense she really needs... She has a lot of planets around her Scorpio South Node, so she's very comfortable with it, a big part of who she is... her Moon is there for instance. It's cool. we've been friends a long time, and have many many friends in common, which seems to be a theme over time with significant nodal connections... IP: Logged |
