8th house is deep intimacy and profound sexual attraction, while the 12th house deals with the unconscious and deepest parts of our psyche. It's apparently a strong "psychic" connection, whatever that means.

Does anyone have any experiences with these overlays ? What are the different emotions that define each?

For me, 8th house seems to be the most intense. I usually feel an instant connection/attraction to people who put planets in my 8th house.

8th for me please. My Sun and Mercury are there.

I'm not entirely fond of 12 house synastry. But I imagine it's dependent on the individual's chart

I have two male friends, one who puts his sun in my 8th, the other puts Venus, Uranus, and Sun in my 12th.

I am sexually attracted to the 8th house Sun, and only platonically attracted to the 12th house. But, I feel a deep bond with my 12th house friend. There is definite love between us, and loyalty in the friendship. So I am really appreciating that 12th house connection.

The 8th house Sun feels full of potential, but there is mistrust and hesitation. However, overall synastry will affect that. And for my 8th house friend, I put my Sun and Jupiter in his 12th. I am not sure what he thinks of that.
