What do you all feel about this?

Do you think it would indicate a relationship that would cause wounds to arise, for better or for worse, e.g., the potential for healing is present for both partners, but obviously that level of vulnerability could lead to further wounding?

I guess it means that anyone born within a few months before or after you would have their deepest unhealable wound merge with yours.

I was in a relationship with this synastry aspect and yeah, his Taurus Chiron in the 1st conjunct mine in the 8th did coincide around the same issue - money. We did not help each other heal and probably never will. We actually managed to scar each other. I believe it was the Chiron conjunction because nothing else in our synastry points to it.

I am now in a relationship with someone who was born almost a year after me, so our Chirons are not conjunct (although they do form positive cross-aspects with personal planets). His unhealable wound has no connection to mine.

Mine and my bfs chirons are conjunct, both in gemini, his 3rd house and mine 11th. I think it can work both ways, massive potential to heal each other and massive potential to wound each other further, it depends on whether or not each party has the strength to learn and grow from each other, but obviously many factors would affect this. The conjunct i believe would make the healing process easier than would a hard aspect. I have the sun opposing my chiron in my natal, and even though i have a heavy sun/ leo influenced chart i am def prone to deep depression and i can resonate so deeply with this aspect; but i also feel the potential to heal will be so tremendous a reward even more than a sun conjunct chiron because the battle is harder to overcome.

One has this conjunction with everyone born the same year or so.
Chiron aspects to personal planets probably indicate the healing/wounding potentials more.

...Or maybe they understand each other's deepest wounds because they're dealing with the exact same thing.

Honestly I'd rather be with someone whose Chiron was conjunct my own, for those reasons.

I overlook generational aspects unless they form part of a larger pattern or connect with something more personal such as Venus, Sun, or Asc.

Chiron/Chiron isn't anymore special than Pluto/Pluto or Neptune/Neptune.

I think two people sharing the same perma-wounds probably counts as a bit more special, yes looool - probably much more significant than, like you mentioned above, just having the outer planets conjunct.

Ask anyone who has ever gone through something very specific and wounding, how they felt when they encountered others who have gone through the same thing.

Even if I'm wrong, the guy I'm interested in right now has Chiron 'personalized' - forming aspects to his inner planets in his own chart, and so do I (squaring my sun and trining my venus), and synastry-wise our chirons conjunct as well so...yeah.

Essentially it reads 'same or similar.' It is a null and has no particular significance unless the other person's configurations are more significant and make tight synastry with your Chiron.

To be honest, these asteroids are rarely worth much consideration in synastry. I don't even count them towards a basic compatibility assessment.
