There's a mystic rectangle in the synastry, which means there's a very harmonious energy between you guys. Must definitely add to the fatedness of the SN connection.

Moon trine Moon, meaning communication between you guys is smooth sailing and you often come to similar conclusions about certain events/theories/topics

Are you inside? Your Venus is unaspected which might account for your lack of "spark" romantically. Also...Mars/Pluto DW, Moon/Mars...are you sure there's no heat at least?

I think the Sun/SN conj. explains the "familiar" feeling. I've had that before (me being the SN)...as soon as I heard his voice it was like I had known him forever. Freaky.

Your Mercury is very well-aspected, hence your free-flowing thoughts - conj. his Venus, Mars and Jupiter. Jupiter is a little wide though...I'd say Venus/Mars/Mercury is probably why you enjoy talking to each other. Your way of communicating (Mercury) is pleasing (Venus) and invigorating (Mars) to him. His Mercury isn't getting much love though - only a square to your Moon so perhaps he may come across as a little insensitive sometimes.

Your Moons aren't actually trine (by actual aspect)...his Moon may trine your SUN but we can't be sure because his TOB isn't accurate. Moons in the same element may add a resonance though. Niether of your Moons are getting much love otherwise...only a square to his Mercury and trine to Uranus from your Moon. That might explain that lack of romantic (emotional) interest as well.

Oh yes Cancer Sun...I was looking at his Sun, oops!

Yes, your Venus isn't making any major aspects to his planets, save for maybe what looks like a quintile? To his Neptune? Which is minor. With him being predominantly Air/Fire element wise this is likely why it may feel a little icy. They don't emote as well as someone with more water in their chart. His earth moon may help but more in a grounded, steady kind of way and still not in an emotional way.
