Any experience of this in synastry?

I can't find much info unfortunately.

Who's had this aspect and how did it feel for BOTH people?

My daughter's Sun/Moon midpoint is conjunct my North Node. I feel incredible at the center of her place of well being and integration, her inner world (not like I'm the center, but when I am with her it's very much a feeling of being at home for both of us... well, she's my daughter after all!) . It is a realm which is both new/exciting and intimately right for me... This is in Pisces in my 4th house, and when we engage in creative activities together, when I am compassionate and forgiving of myself and others I experience the most intense growth and bliss. She has been an integral part of my spiritual journey.

Z is my friend who has been in a love affair situation with D, my ex/friend, for the last 4 years. Her Sun/Moon midpoint is conjunct his North Node. He feels similarly about Z as I feel about my daughter... intensely stimulated, invigorated spiritually, absolutely right and at home... very compassionate, he can do more for her than he can for most people. And I know she feels very much at home with him (or has done... she has now excommunicated him at least for the time being.. I think their relationship has definitely been fated, and she is incredibly important on his path, and same with my daughter for me... and vice versa, but possibly the North Node person in this combination is particularly changed by the newness of the interaction, the other person just by being themselves/existing profoundly changes the NN person)...

It seems like an incredibly powerful connection by what you describe. thats amazing that you have it with your daughter!

I feel like my NN is definitely being activated into an area of relating I have not been used to. Strange but unsure. I'll see how this goes, still unfamiliar. But it's a 2 degree orb. Would this count??

I think it could. The Sun/Moon midpoint with conjunctions can easily be given the widest orb of them all, when it comes to midpoints. Would be felt for sure.

I do not think this aspect guarantees anything one way or the other... it does seem to point to the ability to affect one another profoundly. The likelihood of the initiation of an important liaison on meeting is higher. That's the main thing that Ebertin says about this one, I recall. That it is an initiator of potential long term associations (this would be by transit but I think the energy in synastry means constant renewal of this initiatory energy, which can be very exciting! I am certainly consistently stimulated by my daughter, never get bored!)

Well there's certainly a reason I'm being drawn to this person......but I need to be careful too and not put all my eggs in one basket. I.e. Become consumed
