Five Aspects in the Natal Chart that Can Make for Problems in Relationships

I don’t care who you are but relationships are hard. Of course, as with all traits, some people have it harder than others. Let’s see why this may occur.

1. Neptune in the 7th House
Neptune fogs what it touches. In this case, the area of relationships and HOW to navigate them may be unclear.

2. Uranus in the 7th House
Uranus is a….well, I don’t like to swear, but if there is one planet that kicks the derrieres of human beings, it is Uranus. Uranus electrifies what it touches and may make it UNSTABLE. Uranus in the 7th House may do a “blender” number on relationships. When I use the word “blender”, it is that thing that makes smoothies.

3. Pluto in the 7th House
Pluto can be a drama queen. Picture a teenage girl in love. She goes up, up, up. She goes down, down, down. She is “oh so depressed”. She is “oh so happy”. *sigh* That kind of high drama is not conducive to a stable relationship.

4. Venus square Uranus
Venus is love. Uranus can make for instability in that which it touches. Hence, the square may make for a person who finds it very hard to commit.

5. Moon square Uranus
In this case, the emotions may not be on an even course( to put it mildly). This is a very hard square. It may make for excessive worry. It may make for an electric kind of mind that will not shut down i.e what is called the monkey mind.
This aspect does not impinge on relationships directly, but more so for the fact that the person, himself, may suffer a great deal

What of Mars/Sun in 7th?

I have Pluto in 7th and I have always felt that this placement is problematic.

Reason being that few people "live up" to the mount of love and attention I expect from those that I am in a relationship with.

Its like I want it ALL. And when I don't get it,I tend to feel abandoned and close up.

Mars in 7th shows a DESIRE for a relationship. The Sun shows a focus on relationships, A.

You hit it right on the head with Moon square Uranus and Pluto in the 7th. Unfortunately, I have both Natally but luckily, spiritually enough aware to try and put a lid on it.

My mind literally runs nonstop and I am overly emotional in situations that don't always call for it. The smallest change in tone of voice, behavior, routine, etc makes my imagination run wild. Sometimes I think I'm really crazy but I blame my moon-Uranus for comfort haha.

On a serious note though, I can see how these two placements would sabotage relationships especially if one is blind to their own nature in which I was which is why I kept blaming the other person for all of those bizzare feelings.

The only issue I'm having now at this point is figuring out how to silence my mind during one of my intense worry sessions AND how to decipher between what is real and what is imagined as potential hurt. I'm in touch with reality though! I'm not quite THAT psycho haha I hope I'm making sense.

I never had so-called women's intuition which adds to the paranoia. Astrologers have said a lack of intuition is associated with women with Moon-Uranus hard aspect in natal.

It has gotten better with age... Transit Uranus is finishing up its second pass over my moon and will across for the final time once it goes direct at the end of this month and then lovely Pluto will be making his grand entrance to bulldoze what's left of my emotions soon after I'm ready to face Pluto head on but I am a bit nervous. I just hope he helps shed some of this emotional trauma and baggage because although I will always have Moon-Uranus, I can redirect the energy. I just have to learn how and then master it. It's all healing and transformation.

And might I add, I also have Moon square NEPTUNE Natally and this is no walk in park either if coupled with other challenging aspects.

9/10 I start to think the other person can read my thoughts and feel what I'm thinking and a lot of the time I worry myself into negative thought processes which reinforces my paranoia.

"If they're thinking what I'm thinking then they might think I don't love them or want to be with them and eventually leave.." (yes, abandonment issues at its finest)

(which isn't the case AT ALL.. I just overthink situations and always have the worst case scenario in mind)

I have this ALSO but with Aries ruling my 12th.

This article definitely has some validity to it.

A lot, actually.

But luckily I have a 1 degree Moon-Saturn trine and a Moon-Jupiter conjunction to help out a ton.

All hope is not lost!

Moon square Uranus is erratic. Difficult sticking to anything. Prefer unstable lifestyle. My parents moved us frequently growing up. When a heavy transit conjuncts this square, my life gets erratic in some way. Transit Pluto conjunct Uranus squaring Moon, I was transgender for a few years. Transit Saturn conjunct the square, I lived by the beach and painted naked women. Exciting, emotionally draining. Prefer earthy transits. When Saturn gets to Capricorn, I'll be normal again =D

Neptune in the 7th- YES. Always has been this way, but not just romantic relationships for me. Basically, any close relationship. I always feel like I'm "walking on egg shells".

IT could also be because my Pisces Moon makes me VERY susceptible and empathic. There are days I cannot leave the house 30-something years later I still get stressed about this!!!

Because routine becomes boring and there is a need for some excitement or change in the relationship. Like I need my space and I like being alone sometimes. And I can be separated from the person I'm involved with for months at a time. I don't need to see the person everyday.

Hmm my intuitions is one of the best though. I can feel things going on, but do have a tendency to exaggerate a bit in my love life. I have a pisces moon though and is water dominant, so maybe thats why

My biggest problems with relationships though is that I get detached and too possessive. But at the same time, I need my space, and to be with someone who is emotionally stabile. its reeeeeally hard to find

@Dream Catcher

It is hard. To me, Jesus is the only one who can change anyone and He can and He is changing me. It seems so slow that I will be a million years old before I am good

I just noticed the guy I'm seeing has Uranus in the 7th. No wonder he is so attracted to me...I have Moon in Aquarius. And he always says how odd I am lol and unusual in comparison to others.

I have the notorious Venus square Uranus and I want to add something, also because my Uranus is part of a stellium (with Saturn, IC, Neptune and the Moon), and each planet seems to affect Uranus and by extension Venus.

I find it really hard to find a balance between wanting to socialize, have fun with others, reach out and spend time with them without over-tiring myself (chronic health problems), it seems like either I isolate, relax and miss out on a lot of the good (Uranus) or I spend time on keeping the relationship (Venus) but I start feeling tired, headaches, etc from being so busy.

While Uranus loves space in the figurative sense, I feel it literally - like on the train/tram/etc I easily start feeling claustrophobic with a lot of people around me and the feeling I can't get out and off my stop when I get there. And I hate small rooms in how they look.

And that's been why it took me so long to really relate to this aspect, as it's rarely me who doesn't want a relationship or hang out with friends, etc.
