I just reached an "uh-ha!” moment y’all. Now my mother has been in this same abusive relationship for 15 years now (so it’s not a completely sensitive topic for me to talk about as I’ve dealt with the situation for a long time now). But ever since I started studying astrology (2 years ago) I had been searching for the thing in their synastry which was so abusive. There were a few minor “not so seemingly negative” aspects such as pluto trines to venus & sun (which with the trine aspect would signify pluto themes that occur that one is not aware of). Today I discovered my mother’s partner’s chiron is exactly conjunct her north node (in aries - violence, war, aggression). It only just occurred to me that this synastry aspect might only bring pain to the north node person despite any positive chemistry shown in synastry. Unfortunately my mother is a sun & venus in taurus and has tremendous staying power (even when she shouldn’t). My mother's partner has brought nothing but pain to my mother's life, a complete crumbling of her own life in all honestly. Coincidentally I just checked mine and my sister's synastry with my mum's partner and the partner's chiron is conjunct my ascendant and conjunct my sister's IC. Their davison chart's chiron also conjuncts my ascendant and sister's IC with a smaller orb.. wowsers Does anyone have any chiron/north node synastry or abusive relationship synastry they’d like to share? Chiron is one of the symbols I associate with abuse but usually it has hard aspects Saturn, Pluto, orcus or nessus. Also check the midpoints of these symbols Todd IP: Logged |

hmmmm... recently I dated a guy with my ceres in aries conjunct his chiron in aries. Also his saturn conjunct my mars which is close to my own chiron. Good when we were together but he acted funny when apart. I quit talking to him because I got tired of being put down, told how I wasn't enough etc , nothing nice to say and just mean ... if I'm not good enough go find someone who is, problem solved. I'm not even mad or hurt anymore, just want him to be happy with someone that makes him happy and he is proud of !!! Sorry I won't the one but good luck to ya kinda thing. I really mean that too, we all deserve to find happiness. IP: Logged |

I had this aspect with my ex husband (father of my children), my Aries Chiron cj his NN, i broke his heart.I have a best friend who has this same aspect with his ex wife, she is Aries Chiron and is bipolar/abusive and has been torturing him for years, he still loves her. I have this aspect with my current BF again I'm Chiron (he is born very close to my ex husband), again I (not on purpose) have treaten him badly, I really regret it, but it doesn't work and we will separate soon. My Aqua NN is cj the Chiron of a married guy I have had emotional affair with for the last four yrs, he has broken my heart many times, but I still love him. My Chiron is cj his SN too... All these aspects are very close by orb, nearly 00.00. To me it appears as if the NN puts up with Chirons abuse, no matter what, and chirons abuse stems from its inner wound, so NN helps them to heal ( as if it were their life mission). IP: Logged |

I have been in a very painful situation with someone whose Chiron conjuncts my north node in Leo- and I can affirm 1000x that this aspect can be hugely crippling, even if the Chiron aspect is not categorically abusive. Although Chiron is known as the 'wounded healer,' it rarely represents, in my opinion, a positive part of anyone's life. Chiron would be more accurately portrayed as the planet of self hatred and self sacrifice. With this aspect, the Chiron person hurts the north node person /because/ of their own deepest wounds and subsequent fears. Awfully, the way in which they do this brings up the deepest wounds and fears of the north node person. Even more awfully, because the north node person sees the fear behind the actions of the Chiron person, they are far more likely to excuse the Chiron person's unconscious cruelties. Whether the north node person admits it or not, they stay in this dynamic with a hope to heal the Chiron person. The north node person may even feel that they are the only person who can do this and develop a type of martyr complex as a result. What sucks, though, is that Chiron is usually not a planet we heal until maybe a second before death. Lol. And although the north node person may truly help the Chiron person, they will rarely see the results up close- if at all- and may destroy their own future attempting to do so. Of course, this particular person and I have a /very very/ intense synastric chart. If it helps you at all: -Their *8th house Scorpio moon exactly conjunct Pluto* is conjunct my 2nd house Scorpio moon. -My *Pluto conjunct Venus and Chiron* trines his Jupiter, Venus and Mars in Leo. -His Neptune is conjunct my Sun in Capricorn. -His Saturn is conjunct my Neptune in Aquarius. -My Sun conjuncts his north node in Capricorn. Etc. Etc. IP: Logged |

And of course- he is a Cancer (Sun, Mercury) with an Aries rising and I am a Capricorn (Sun, Mercury) with a Libra rising, so we oppose each other every which way. He has his Midheaven in Capricorn and I have mine in Cancer. It's all very ****** and fated. Etc. Etc.
You ready for this insanity? As I'm reading this, (a Leo NNODE, by the way) I'm nodding regarding all the CHIRON, because his is opposite my SUN. But he's a Cancer SUN, too. and a Scorpio MOON. With VENUS in Leo. ... WTF. The odds of that being connected to anything randomly Chironic at all is just ... wow. Oh, it's possible. 1 in 12 x 2 or some rot. But still. Sorry for your pain. I FEEL YOU, fractaling. And, welcome to LL. IP: Logged |

WOAH!! That is so incredibly crazy! I definitely don't think it's a coincidence. Cancer energy is so so combustible, especially with added water/fixed signs. I think those three Sun, Moon and Venus placements can indicate a lot of pain in childhood. Interesting hypothesis: if Saturn is ruled by Capricorn, and Chiron is known as a type of Saturn, is it possible that Chiron could be heavily tied to Cancer? (If not ruled.) It has all of the elements of projected pain/projected painful healing. Thx for welcoming me!

Of course! Great having you here. Funny you say that, as I've always felt that CHIRON is a kind of Cancerian / Sagittarian-flavour combo platter. So, that jibes. But, yeah, in my personal experience, it's Cancer SUN, SAG rising, and Aries MOON and Scorpio MOON that's got some deep wounding. I'm definitely going to check into the Chironic / Cancerian (also lunar) potential link. IP: Logged |

This gives a very analytical mind.very intelligent and curious.very often a photographic memory .this also can give psychic abilities.usually along with a creative and mathematical mind.extremely loyal but can be unforgiving at the slightest offensive remark . Always pushing the envelope as Chiron searches for the inner truth. todd
