I mean, what aspect causes more attraction? Romantically.
I think, Sun opposite Moon but I want to read other opinions.

Thanks for your reply, Ami.

I know two guys and look:

1 - He is a Taurus (sextile my Sun and sextile my Moon) and has Moon in Pisces (conjunct my Sun and trine my Moon). His Mars opp. my Venus. His Mars conj. my Mars. His Venus trine my Mars.

2 - He is a Capricorn (sextile my Sun and opposite my Moon) and he has Moon in Aries (altough I have Moon in Cancer, we have Moon trine Moon 7°18). We don't have Venus-Mars aspects.

And guess what? I feel attracted to the Capricorn guy. At first, I felt attracted to the Taurus guy but not like the Capricorn one. So .

this is just a guess and only for further analysis.

I suspect that the opposition of luminary in synastry is more poweful than the conjunction in spite of conjunction being stronger as Ami has pointed out.

why? because it sort of becomes a double whammy with each luminary bringing each other the yan-ying energy.

I feel the opposition between luminaries are more powerful. I have a gemini moon and I'm not that attracted to the sun. My sun in aries is opposite the man I'm seeing moon and I'm very attracted to him, gives me good love! My moon is towards the end of Gemini and he's a cancer sun with gemini venus/mars. So that could be some of the attraction.

Another guy whom I was head over heels involve with had libra moon opposite my sun widely and my moon squared his sun. Our suns/mars were conjunct in Aries. The love of my romantic life.

One other guy I crushed on was a Sagittarius with capricorn moon, I was very attracted to him but it never went anywhere because he is too shy. His sun was exactly opposite my gemini moon. I could tell he liked me just not enough to ask me outright for date, until recently. But it was one of those, "if i didn't have important things to do today, i'd accompany you to the movies", although I didn't invite him, I just stated my plans for the evening. But thats that. I feel the opposition and square is stronger in my opinion.

i feel more the opposition and i think moon conjunct sun is more like a 'friendship aspect' and sun opposite moon is more like a romantic aspect.

thanks for your reply.

I wonder what your chart looks like? For you to be attracted to someone more than another-whom you enjoy easy aspect with- could suggest that you are a ""square" girl i.e you have a lot of challenging aspects in your chart.

Or it could just mean that the Cappy guy is just sexier?

You made me laugh. I like your reply haha. Thanks.

I don't know. I think they are very hot, lol, but they are so different, the Taurus guy is blonde with green eyes and the Capricorn guy has brunette hair and brown eyes. Seriously, I'm veeery attracted to him.

Well, I thought you would have a rich "square" chart. But its really not that hectic.

You have the Moon in the 3rd house like me (in Placidus). And this can make your emotional nature changeable-not to mention restless.

You want plenty of stimulation-especially with Uranus/Neptune in 9th in opposition to the Moon.Even if its the type that can be called "other worldly".

Your Venus in Aquarius conjuncts the 10th house. So you are definitely attracted to charm -as you are heavily charming yourself-especially in your work environment(Venus rules the 6th house)

Now Venus is opposed by Mars-which can heighten your mood and make you prone to extremes and switching between Miss nice(Venus) and Miss nasty(Mars).

It could also suggest that you project either one of the planets to your lover or people you feel strongly drawn to i.e you may "own" Venus and be very nice, but live(4th house) in a turbulent environment (Mars).

But that energy feels like home to you. So you inadvertently find yourself very drawn to Mars types- at worst aggressive and touchy. At best vivacious and lively.

The Mars sign rules the 12th and so I worry when Mars rules the 12th or is in the 12th as it often represents repressed anger

This could suggest that the partners you are drawn to may have anger issues(Mars) or some hidden aspect of their ego that you are not aware of(12th house Aries).

It could also suggest that no matter how rowdy or aggressive they behave with you, you could end up defending them and thinking that they are just simply misunderstood(12th)

The 12th house often represents people that slip off our conscious radar. And when the "love" planets is in or related to the 12th house i.e Mars/Venus, it is likely that we fall in-love and are simply blind to the other person's faults.

In your case, the 2ndary ruler of the 7th is Mars and it opposes idealistic Venus. And forgiving Neptune(12th house affiliated ruler)opposes the nurturing Moon.So be careful.

Pluto is in the 7th in its own turf-speaking of an attraction to "extreme" people who can be quite "raw".They tend to have a "rogue" nature and are stubborn.

I don't know the Caps chart so you are best to say what(based on these),draws you to him.

^ Exactly what I experienced my entire life when it comes to MY Leo-Sun. The most irresistible attraction to Aqua-Moons. Friendship always with Leo-Moon.

When it comes to my Scorp-Moon, I never felt truly attracted to Taurus-Sun. More to Scorp-Sun but not half that strong compared to the Aqua Moons described above.

Woah! I feel so lucky or blessed or whatever when someone writes like you did! I appreciate this so much, really.
Thank you! thank you, thank you.

Oh, you have Moon in 3rd like me. I like have Moon in 3rd house and I identify more with Moon in 3rd house than with Moon in Cancer.

Everything you wrote is accurate! I didn't realised Mars is also the ruler of Scorpio and that is important in my natal chart... What you just wrote. And it makes sense, I'm always attracting guys like that.

Well, I don't want to bother you with another chart but thank to you I realised why I'm more attracted to the Capricorn guy and I want to share it, especially with you because you are the reason why I know this now, haha.
The Taurus guy has Venus in Aries trine Mars in Leo. That's harmonious, althought he has Ascendant in Scorpio oppo. my Ascendant in Taurus but he has 'good' aspects, I mean: Venus trine Mars is a nice aspect.
The Capricorn guy has Moon in Aries opposite Mars, Venus square Mars-Saturn-NN. He has Venus square NN like me and Venus square Mars. So maybe that's the reason?

This is so interesting🤔🤔.

Nordicsoul, my Aries Sun intrinsic character type is powerfully attracted to Libra Moon inner feelings; it acts like a Full Moon--wild and looney. While Aries Sun conj Aries Moon acts like a New Moon: character type and feeling type are the same. More integrated and focused.

Pardon me if it's been mentioned or if this seems outdated, but Mila it might be that in Sun opposite Moon you're the Moon, and in Sun conjunct Moon you're the Sun. You might be more comfortable as the Moon in the opposition... and both you and the other guy might be just a little less comfortable with him being the Moon in the conjunction.

I attract and am attracted to Capricorns (Moon or Sun opposite my Cancer Sun) more than Taurus in general, but I never adored anyone more than when their Taurus Sun was conjunct my Taurus Moon...lol. Their Moon was in Cap too, so nevermind

Interesting I experience the friendship aspect with Sun in Aquarius on my Moon, but the attraction of my Sun to Sag-Moons is off the Chart, though it is a mix of attraction and a Feeling of kinship.

I blame the fact that my 7th house ruler is conjunct my Sun probably.

my parents have the Opposition, however my Dad`s Moon is in 8th house and my moms sun is in Scorpio, so there is common ground.

Personally I have not ever met a Leo Sun or Gemini Moon that I felt attracted to. Possibly the Leo Sun would have better chances. lol

OMG, I just looked at my first choice life partner birthdate (3 Aug 1992) with Aqua ASC (one of 3 best ASC's). Her Libra Moon conj my POF, and my Sun-Eros conj her POF!

Libra Moon(conj my POF) opposite my Aries Sun, hands down favorite. My beloved first wife, one of the two greatest loves of my lifetime, has Libra Moon. I've never had a lover with Aries Moon.

The Taurus guy completes your other kite with his Venus Aries then (degree dependent).

The Capricorn guy nearly completes your other kite formation with his Moon. His Juno though definitely does.

These pattern completions are powerful. Does Juno win over Venus maybe? Many questions in astrology

Now that I have seen the Caps chart. I concur that Moon in Cancer is drawn to his Sun in Cap. As he likely is drawn to you.

He has a grand kite formation. Wow!!! That's a lot of cardinal energy right there. And in the early degrees the sign.

No, that kite is her chart.

And, actually, now I look, her Cancer Moon is too wide for an opposition with his Cap Sun.

And, back on topic.. I find that a man's Moon on my Sun a bit too familiar.. Maybe claustrophobic even. But I've not experienced a relationship. Maybe over time it's just nice and cozy.

TOTALLY agree with you! never seen conj being an attracting factor.. to me it never had been either.. its always the opposite aspect.

because opposite always attract.
