Chiron is a wild card like a Mobius strip. I have mined some of Chiron’s wealth, simply by doing charts and picking brains. Being a Gemini helps because we are endlessly inquisitive. However, I don’t think I have seen Moon/Chiron in synastry. Chiron, in synastry, usually takes the path of a close friendship and then a breaking apart. However, I wonder if there can be a revulsion in there, too. The strangest relationship I ever had was my Nessus conjunct her Chiron. This started as a close friendship, went to a hostile one, then went to a closer one, in the manner of best friends and then broke up, altogether and forever. I put forth this question for your opinion and so we all can learn together. I look forward to your Comments!

Ami! Haha, we are on a Chiron kick, huh? Like I mentioned in the other thread, I got an exact time of birth for the person I've been seeing and found that his Moon also trines my Chiron. Like I said, this is only one of four tight aspects he makes to my Chiron (his Mars also trines it, while his Saturn and Jupiter square it) so I'm not sure how to identify how all these aspects are manifesting in different ways. But I'll give it a go with interpreting the Moon/Chiron.

What you say about the relationship moving very fast and becoming very close very quickly is definitely true. We originally met two years ago when we worked together and both felt something; he pursued a friendship with me, but I felt he was too forward. The thing is, I felt something too, but I was still not over some past hurts. When I left the job I also stopped talking to him for two years, until I moved back in town this past fall. Now I was the one reaching out to him. After a few dates we were completely enamored with one another, and every night we've spent together is mind-boggling ly perfect.

So I can see how, as the wounded Chiron, I was not yet ready at first because he activated some pain that had not healed for me. But recently (last night) I realized I still do hold a lot of that pain. It's not his fault, but it's just a sore spot for me.

The moon ruling the fourth house and signifying home, family, and emotional security, I can see how his domestic side comes out with me. He's told me that I remind him of his ex-wife, and he talks often about her and about his family and childhood. (He also has his North Node in the fourth house.) He's mentioned that there are some things he's not entirely over. So I suspect that through me he is healing his fourth house wounds, through his Moon trine my Chiron.

Anyway that's my theory!!

Ami, I was just doing some more reading on Chiron and do you know that Nessus was indirectly the cause of Chiron's death? This is from Wikipedia:

At Heracles' prompting, Pholus was forced to produce the vessel of sacred wine. The hero, gasping for wine, grabbed it from him and forced it open. Thereupon the vapors of the sacred wine wafted out of the cave and intoxicated the wild centaurs led by Nessus who had gathered outside. They attacked the cave with stones and fir trees. Heracles was forced to shoot many arrows (poisoned with the blood of the Hydra) to drive them back. During the assault, Chiron was hit in the thigh by one of the poisoned arrows.
