I'm why Jupiter is so underrated. I personally love Jupiter. After all, it is my chart ruler! My Jupiter conjunct my crush' s asc, trines his mars and sextiles his moon and seriously, I just love making him laugh and spoil him. His Jupiter also conjunct my venus. Who else loves Jupiter in synastry??! IP: Logged |

Oh YES I love Jupiter in synastry and actually feel it's a must have for any good relationship. It's another clue thing besides Saturn. I personally ALWAYS feel when I have a Jupiter contact in synastry. Then I check and YEP, it's there. A personal planet (Sun, Moon, Mercury or Venus). It makes you see less serious when things go tough. Bursting out in laughter, just having fun that's SOO important!! I NEED it!! And wow wow you have Jupiter conjunct Venus?!! That's grand!! I love jupiter too! I have it in my 7th house natally, and conjunct mars (out of sign), so feel it more than most.In the synastry with my best friend (who may be more one day), we have a jupiter conjunct valentine DW (less than 1deg both ways); my jupiter trines his neptune (3deg out of sign) his jupiter (his chart ruler) is conjunct my MC (0'15), opposite my eros; and widely opposite my venus (4deg). We work together and he has played a huge part in my progression, and we have a really sweet mutually supportive thing going on. I absolutely love jupiter IP: Logged |

Jupiter is a wonderful feel good. That which it touches, it infuses with positive fairy dust( in the good aspects) In the hard aspects, it can make for imbalance i.e doing too much of something, such as giving too much of yourself, for example.------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? I'm always of the opinion that any aspect with Jupiter is never really that bad (even squares/inconjuncts, though the latter is probably the 'trickiest' to handle). Jupiter is very bouyant, and it's biggest issue is that there can be an excess of whatever it touches. And that can sometimes drain a lot quicker in a square aspect-- but! It doesn't usually 'keep away' or make/break something. Jupiter tends to have people coming back after a recharge because it's such a pleasant energy. IP: Logged |

I know but I’m asking if Mercury/Jupiter in synastry would help with other harsh Mercury aspects in a synastry.

Of course it would! A meeting of mind and jubilee is gonna help a lot of things, especially other energies that are on the same playing field. Jupiter is also the great teacher, so the only thing I would be mindful is that with the harder aspect, make sure we don't have a 'giving all to the teacher' and forgetting the student is also a form of teacher to the guru.
